Learning to be in charge
I read "Getting Things Done When You Are Not In Charge [Kindle Edition]" by Geoffrey M Bellman as an assignment for a Quality Management course. I found the book an easy read with many good examples of how to lead whether one is in charge or not. Bellman also had many references to the golden rule that I find is lacking in the business world today. As a future Quality Manager, I will look back on this book for ideas in the future.
Perfect. 2nd copy and this one soft cover
Perfect. 2nd copy and this one soft cover. Right on time and just as described. This is a very useful book for all of those who have to work from the middle.
Great book!
This book is great for any support professional. If you work in a service organization (IT, HR, Accounting, etc.) within a larger corporation, this book is for you! It has helped me understand the dynamics between my department and my customer. The ideas are great and the book is an easy read.
Use at work
Words of wisdom. I find inspiration from the book and am uplifted by it. That's not easy when you are a supervisor and work in a cubicle.
This is a very good read
I needed this for college and I do recommend this for working adults that feel that their input isn't important.
