Publisher's Summary:
It's Vietnam, 1969. After a Vietcong ambush, Navy SEAL Mel Stone recovers from a prolonged coma in a Montagnard village with no memory and an aging process that ended at age 22. Decades latter as his memory returns bit by bit, he realizes he has developed a miraculous medical condition. What some consider a blessing becomes a living hell when powerful men hunt him across four continents to tear the secret from Mel, dead or alive. He evolves from SEAL's aggressive militancy, to Buddhist pacifism, to POW despair, to the terror of a fugitive - until he reverts to being a warrior - protecting the love of his life. Fast paced, with intrigue, romance, and action, yet lightened by flippant dialogue in the face of peril, Hell's Blessing describes the price paid by egos attempting to tamper with Mother Nature.

A story of intrigue and survival...
Hell's Blessing is a different kind of story than others than I have read, written in a fast paced, quick to the point style, that could be compared to the style of Don Winslow. It is a story of struggles and of an unusual blessing during a turbulent setting of Vietnam in the 1960's. Author Martin Kaynan's main character, Stone, takes matters into his own hands in order to protect the love of his life, while the brutality of such takes its toil.
The novel is a very lengthy read for those who want to delve into areas of madness, action, and intrigue. There is also a message to be gained from the conclusion. I would recommend this author's works to other readers, and look forward to seeing what else he writes within the near future.
Mystery, suspense, action!
It picked up the story line from the first book very well and ran with it. Again I could not easily put it down. I wanted to read it all of the way through. The entire concept of the series of books was one that I had not read before and that made it more exciting. I always enjoy mystery, suspense, and a great development of the characters within the story. This was one of those books that did it all!
Paced like an action movie
Paced like an action movie, by an experienced screenwriter, this book delivers all the violence and angst a reader could want. Sadistic villains and tormented heroes make this an R-rated adventure novel for readers who like gore and glory. Cliffhanger ending.
Read at your own risk
If you don't like street language, beautiful women, non-stop action across the world and through the years, you'd best skip this story. Oh yeah, you can't like surprise endings, either. Mr. Kayman doesn't hold back.
One hell of a ride
In Martin Kaymanâs Hellâs Blessing, a whole bunch of bad guys pursue former Navy SEAL Mel Stone who hasnât aged a day in thirty years. Can Stone escape all these villains whoâll stop at nothing to catch him and exploit the secret of his agelessness? Can he find happiness with Moira Boyer, the beautiful and sexy film star? Iâm not telling. Buy it. Read it. Enjoy. Though some abrupt shifts of time, place, and viewpoint characters put occasional speed bumps in this briskly paced menâs action/adventure novel, overall Hellâs Blessing takes you on one hell of a ride.
