I have...but this one has to be my fave....My book friends have always found Sebyo so swoony....and I was like...ehhh he is ok...I wasn't anti Sebyo...but I wasn't actively seeking out Sebyo...but hunny..I have a ton of Sebyo in my library and I am hopping all over that stuff here very shortly!!!!

I didnt expect to fall in love with Carter PBP....But he is special.....so kind, considerate, filthy minded and mouthed....and Kendall...she is super awesome and deserves to be truly loved...I totally was crushed when I thought maybe they were not going to make it...but good things come to those who wait and I am so glad they got their HEA!!! Truly a swoon worthy book with an excellent performance...just put it in your cart now and click buy it....Take a trip with the Playboy Pilot, you can thank me later!!!!

COME FLY WITH CARTER AND KENDALL

We get to travel around the world with Carter and Kendall. About a third way into the book I'm thinking this is another cookie cutter romance then it took a turn to a deeper more emotional side of Carter.

There's fun, angst, sadness, sex and some oh's. Much to my surprise I enjoyed this book.

Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland write entertaining books. A lot of their books are 'the same book different title.' This book was really different and I think you'll enjoy it.

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are a power team with their performances.

Absolutely worth credit/$.

Hammered!

Deep breath because I'm still recuperating from the book hangover I received after reading this book. I'll start by saying, when Wyatt was first introduced in Mister O, I instantly felt a connection to the character. Not sure why...actually I know why. He came across as quick witted, sexy and good with his hands. Yes, I got all that from his 1 or 2 scenes with Nick. Little did I know, he'd be so much more than I could have imagined.

As with most of my reviews, I don't like to retell the story. That's the point of reading the book, or reviewing the blurb or synopsis. What I will focus on is the dynamic of the story, and the captivating voice and perfect writing style of Blakely.

Within the first page, I knew that Wyatt's story would give me all the feels that comes with the Romantic Comedy that's been created by Lauren Blakely. This book did not disappoint. Wyatt, who out of all the characters thus far, has a career that just oozes sexiness. He's not a lawyer, or a doctor or anything of that nature, but hey, you get the drift from the cover...he works well with his hands (insert grin). Blakely, as always, uses her research skills and gives a very real view of what someone in his industry would handle on daily basis. Ive worked with a construction company, so she was spot-on with the day-to-day operations...Enough of that.

Wyatt's character is my favorite so far. A man who is both talented, smart and funny, and well hung...I mean what more do you need besides a wish that he were real lol (Perfect Unicorn). I love that Blakely gave him a past but put him in a situation to deal with it face-to-face in the form of Natalie, who was full of passion and a genuine spark in the novel. You can't help but enjoy the chemistry created by the two. I love that Natalie was a strong woman, and not a pushover.

The narrator sounded like a robot who is out of breath. It was hard to listen and vet through it.

Unexpectedly Good

What does Michael Pauley bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

I really liked his narration of this book. He did a really good job with the characters and drew me more into the story. I don't think I would have liked it as much if I had read it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Just shock. There were a lot of revelations in this book. Also the flashbacks of the couple made me think awww. You could tell they had a real connection in the past.

I really liked the premise of this story. You can kind of just tell what Ivy's secret from the past is. I understood Lucas's stance on the whole thing and it took a while to see why Ivy did what she did and I think if she would have revealed that earlier this couple would have came together sooner. I understood Lucas's issues too. At first I was wondering why he was so cold to Ivy in the beginning but as his reasons began to emerge I could see his side. I was wondering how Ivy and Lucas would get over their past issues and I really liked the resolution to the conflict. I look forward to reading more from this author.

The story is outstanding. Not predictable. the only issue was the reader. He was not exciting. he read in a monotone manner.

So angsty!

If every person plotted revenge on someone that destroyed their heart in high school we would all be miserable. The plot made me mad at heroine. I had a hard time relating to her at all even after the full story was revealed from her side.

There is a clear defined roll open for a male character. Why no male narrator? I think Morgan is great but needed the male voice for clearly makes Parker's narrative.

Series with twists and turns

This first book of this series has an intriguing and sexy story, complicated characters and enough twist and turns that kept me entertained. It is a "stand alone" complex story that builds from young love - to betrayal - to revenge. I liked the dual POV of the H/h (Parker & Victoria) because it allows us to "get into" the character's heads a bit more and learn more about them. The secondary characters are also written with distinct personalities, which makes me curious to learn more about them in the other books of this series.

I enjoyed the narration for this book. She did a nice job with each character and was pleased with the distinction between male and female voices.

Note: This book does include sex scenes and some strong language. I would advise this for adults only.

Idk, these characters annoyed me. I stopped less then 2 hours in, couldn't take anymore

Didn't think I would finish it but the story kept me going.

I'm pretty disappointed with this book...I almost didn't finish it but the story was good enough that it kept me going. Parts of it were entertaining but most of it was a little too dramatic and dragged on. I also was not a fan of the narration at all.

Never a dull moment with the Sullivans

Another chance to dive into the world of the Sullivans. One of my favorite families the Sullivans and their lives are full of adventure, love and hope. Definitely a story to pick up. I love how the lovers are often from very different worlds and yet when they come together the world fades to the point where they can deal with anything together. Always a chance to spend some time with a love story where it isn't just they got together and fell in love. Like a real family they have their ups and downs but together they can do it all!

Love this series

This book is a 5 star! I love how it dealt with insecurities, grief, self blame. Yet it showed the softer side of how a tight knit family and friends can help loved ones to overcome some of those issues. It showed us no one is perfect despite what we look like on the outside. IT'S TRULY AMAZING WHAT TRUE LOVE CAN DO....IT CAN UNLEASH FEELINGS YOU THOUGHT WERE BURIED! IT CAN LET YOU LOVE AGAIN!!!!

5 Crazy Ass Must Read/Listen Stars!!!!!

Rachel Van Dyken does it again! I have been waiting for Lex and Gabby's story since meeting them in Book 1. Their little rivalry (for lack of a better word) had me intrigued then so as soon as I was able one-click, I did. I even snatched up the audible book as well for those times when I would have to put my kindle down. From my experience with previous RVD books, this is a must for me as I always seem to get lost in her stories.

Lex and Gabby had me laughing so hard I cried down my leg. Seriously, I'm not lying. I laughed so hard. When they do come together, it's like an explosion. Which is expected with all the passion they throw into their "wars".

I did enjoy the "Kindle in Motion" feature available with this book. It did make for a more interactive read. I felt like I connected more with the characters although, I did have Lex pictured differently in my head.

Rachel has become my go to author when I'm in the mood for a good read that will have me rolling on the floor laughing. I look forward to her next hilarious read.

The Matchmaker's Replacement by Rachel Van Dyken was a great book. I loved the dynamic between Lex and Gabi. They hate each other but Lex starts training her for her new job at Wingmen Inc. I enjoyed reading about how things can be so blurred when Lex and Gabi are close to each other. I loved that the author make the characters people that you both love and hate. I can't wait to read more by the author. I recommend this book to everyone.

Cute and Funny, Mostly

I was very happy to see the second book in the series and Lex and Gabi didn't disappoint. We get to see exactly the how's and why's of the chemistry between these two that we noticed in the the first book. This is a good story about friendships and people are willing to do to be loyal friends.

A nice and complicated romance series.

This is a good ending to the Rose Harbor Inn series. If I had to criticize anything, it would be s bit of redundancy of wording certain characters' emotions and their kissing scenes. I was pleased that she kept it clean and free of the sordid suggestions or spelled-out story lines that keep many novels from bring worthy of a Christian reader. I very much appreciated the complexity of the story lines, the layers of emotion that kept things intriguing but clean. The twists and turns in the plot and the contrast of settings, as well as excellent character development, made the stories very satisfying taken as a whole throughout the five volumes.

The performance by Lorelei King was one of the best I've ever heard anywhere. Her consistency in distinguishing the various character voices was truly remarkable. Her range is unusual, especially for the female voice to pull off. Some people, in fact most, read the text. Ms. King literally performance in such a remarkably believable way, that you forgot about her and lived the story through her. I highly recommend her vocal performance talents to anyone wanting a satisfying read..aloud.

I congratulate and thank Ms. Macomber and Ms. King for some well-spent hours with characters I came to care about, and will miss. Again thanks for keeping it clean with excellence.

sweet & predictable

sometimes you just want to feel good, to know there will be a happy ending. This is the series for that.

Intriging Concept, Mediocre Execution

I liked the concept of a romantic series that featured siblings of a successful family who were not born rich but rather worked together to build the business. While I believe the author is talented, I was hoping for more character development and less whining.

I never connected with oldest brother Sebastian who claimed he never dated a woman who wasn't just interested in his money. Maybe he should have questioned his own choices and picked his dates more wisely or spent time getting to know a woman before having sex.

Likewise, Ava was relentlessly negative and insecure in spite of being smart, educated and attractive. Ava willingly signed a contract that forbid her from dating clients, then decided to risk her professional reputation. Why sign a contract that she wasn't willing to follow? Hopping in bed with a new client (and total stranger) showed bad judgment and low self-esteem.

Considering their bad dating experiences, I didn't find their instant true love very believable. There were cute moments and the potential for more, but the emphasis on sex details instead of personalities did not fit this couple's ages (early 30s). Although mildly entertaining, I was expecting more substance from the Bennett family.

Ugh! Gave up.

I made it as far as Chapter 15, because this was the second book in a row I couldn't stand. As far as I'm concerned, this is barely a book. It's a series of sex scenes hung on a very feeble story line. Could care less about the characters as well.

Did the author have a lot of bad relationships?

This book had potential but it fizzled quickly. Ava and Sebastian were too perfect according to them. They worshipped each other because like they said none stop in the book "they were each unlike any other person." All other people they had relationships with just abused they. This is a big theme in the book which they say over and over again. I mean get over it and just be happy you found someone that's not like that. The end was totally stupid and did not make any sense. I don't recommend this book.

What a gem of a story

This story was so much fun. Sweet sassy and sexy my favorite things in a book. I love this family dynamic.
