I'm a little on the fence with this book. For me the first 1/2 was good but I felt like that part was a little long and drawn out. The 2nd half was perfect! Honestly I think that was because I knew what was going to happen from the beginning so I just wanted to get past that part and get to their story. I needed the happiness, I think.

Trent & Grace had a great love story once they got out of their own way, or he got out of his own way. Grace tried so hard to be tough and we all know that isn't easy when your in love. Their story was sad, happy, sweet and hard. The ending was perfect and I'm sad this series is over.

The narration was great but that is no surprise.

THE BEST WAS SAVED FOR LAST.

What made the experience of listening to Say I'm Yours the most enjoyable?

I enjoy that the book is not just about the relationship, but it has a lot day to day issues that real people are going through. It's very heart warming. Corrine Michaels really knows how to make you cry and laugh so hard. I can't say that I have ever been disappointed with one of her books.

What did you like best about this story?

I really like that the character's are a lot older. I felt that the story was great, because it was not a new love it was a love that took 20 years for Trent to get his head out of his ass.

What does Andi Arndt and Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

I have said it before that Andi and Sebastian are the narrating dynamic duo making all of the scenes very heart warming and the sex scenes are intense. I'm so glad they were the narrator's for this book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I cried like a baby when Mr. Hennington fell. My mouth fell to the floor when Trent over heard his parents and the Dr. talking.

Any additional comments?

I really loved the ending. It was the perfect ending.

I really hope we get another book about Cooper. Or I loved the hinting off of going to Virginia Beach. Maybe these books will intermingle.

5 Say I'm Yours Stars

I was looking forward to this book most. Something about Trent had me wanting to get his story.

I am a huge Gracie fan she is fantastic. I loved that she finally had enough and put her foot down. And she honestly didnt do anything to hurt anyone else. She wanted to have what everyone else does, and she knew she needed to try.

Trent was moody, brooding and downright sexy. I think just because of all that I was rooting hard for him. He is probably my favorite Hennington. I cant help it I like the brooding ones.

This book made me feel so much, good and bad and thats what you want a book to do right.

Holy Moly Sebastian blew me away, I am already a huge fan of his but this book.. damn I think he took his deep growl to the next level.

Two women=too much talking

I'm by no means a harsh critic of romance novels and frankly the two audible performers have great voices that are quite pleasurable. That said, this book caused me to roll my eyes so many times, I think I may have damaged something. Two authors? It felt like they both convinced the other to come up with the biggest pile of steaming plot twists they could given the limited premise of things.

How many times can a woman want to be held? Good lord, what kind of sensitive, delicate flower did they make the heroine out to be? 'Not tonight, tonight I just want to be held.' That should be the name of this review.

Solid mature characters but right at the moment of their interaction together suddenly they both produce excess estrogen and want to have nonstop feelings dialogue. Can't say they act badly or really just become foolish but the sex is so badly delayed for one reason or another it puts this book solidly in the fantasy realm of relationships. It got to the point that Bianca just seemed like a weak, washout of a lead character. Dex got to the point of totally unbelievable example of patience.

Whatever. I made it to the end, but as a frequent listener/ reader, I wished I hadn't wasted my time. It had potential but good lord, was it wasted.

Brilliant

Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward are BRILLIANT authors and as I've said millions of times before, they're an author match made in bookish heaven. To add to their brilliance, this book was narrated by my two most favorite narrators ever, Sebastian York and Andi Ardt. These two can bring any book to life, but when it's a book as good as this one, well...that's just PERFECTION through and through.

Right off the bat, as this book started I found myself laughing. As in, cackling very loudly! Dex was not only hot and completely swoon-worthy, but he was hands-down HILARIOUS.

LOVE it but now what...cliffhanger alert

What did you love best about Tormentor Mine?

I love that the story started out dark and it never stopped. There was glimpses of light through the way that Peter cared for Sara and the way that their relationship developed in the story but overall the storyline is dark. The book tugs at your heartstrings and makes you feel for both characters from the very beginning and pulls you in. This is my first Anna Zaires book and I will be going back to get more of hers after this one.

Have you listened to any of Tracy Marks and Sebastian York s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love both of these narrators however this is the first Sebastian York performance that I have listened to where he has used an accent. Overall I think he did a good job trying a Russian accent. It did fade at times but it didn't distract me from the story overall and I wouldn't doc any stars from it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

While I wanted to listen to this in 1 sitting I wasn't able to listen to it in 1 sitting due to having little ones. I listened to it in 2 sittings on a Saturday. I devoured every minute of it and couldn't put it down.

Any additional comments?

CLIFFHANGER alert and book 2 is not out yet so you can't even read the book if you wanted to so for those who don't like cliffhangers and unresolved storylines you may want to wait until book 2 is out later this year. I myself can't wait until book 2 is out to hear "the rest of the story".

Captivating!

Anna Zaires did it again! Once again, I have fallen in love with another series and two more characters.

Peter and Sara's story hooked me from page 1 and never stopped. I think this may be my favorite set of characters that Zaires has written.

I truly enjoyed both performers, and would listen to more of their work. Narrators can easily make or break a story, and these two truly brought it to life.

SPECTACULAR STORYTELLING

Absolutely compelling from the start.. this psychologically dark story consumed my free hours, my busy hours and the hours I was meant to be asleep.. because where could I have stopped, paused or broken the wicked torment? Could it of been when Peter Sokolov, the heartbroken Russian Assassin, prayed, through his agony and rage, for a miracle as he frantically searched the mutilated pile of bodies for his little family?.. nope no way. Could it have been when, a few years and bodies later, innocent Dr. Sara Cobakis was brutally tortured by Peter for her husbands whereabouts because hed sworn revenge and retribution on all involved?.. OMG it was tense and, again, no way.. not even close. Well could it have been when Peters irrational obsession with Sara took a devastating turn for her when the dangerous sexy alpha suddenly infiltrated her life spinning it off its axis into a nightmare of emotional turmoil as she battled terror, guilt, loss, a feeling of wrongness, shame, self-loathing, want, need and lust?..

This was one of her best books ever. I listened to the book straight through.

Almost didn't finish

I was bored for most of book but then the story picked up toward the end. Narrator was really good and gave the characters personality. At times I wanted to shake a few characters but glad I finished the book because the ending had a message.

Great Book!

I love Debbie Macomber and probably have read every book she has written. This is an interesting story, the characters are believable and the narration is wonderful. I really enjoyed it.

Building Castles

I have wanted this story for SO long, and it did not disappoint. I loved the insights into Daisy's childhood and her struggles and a little more info on just what kind of a man Marcus is. From the Rock Chick series, we already knew about Daisy's trauma at Smithies, and I was relieved that the graphic details were omitted for this short novella and that Marcus' aftercare and their love story was the main focus. The epilogue was a beautiful gift from KA to Daisy, Marcus and all their fans.

This is a MUST HAVE to complete the series and has some cute cameos where Daisy casually notices future friends long before they are introduced. Short but sweet. Perfect!

OMG I want to have a man build a Castle for me!!

Marcus .. Swoon stole my beating heart!

I have been dyeing to learn more about Daisy since forever it feels like, she just has that charisma you cant help but want to be near or learn about. Nothing seems to get her down, this book oh my it just hits you in the feels.

She deserves a Marcus more than anyone. She has her own hot guy right there.

This book is about her before Marcus and how she meets him and how they come a couple but its so much more. Its a true love story.

Its a story of how Marcus loves Daisy. You cant get more love story than that. I swear.

If you are even a little bit of a Rock Chick fan youre going to want to pick up your kindle or your paperback, grab the audiobook and read this heartwarming love story of two who come one.

I bow down to Kristen Ashley for all of her work, but the Rock Chicks just have that extra place in my heart and it just grew today because of Daisy and Marcus.

I loved the narrator <3 She did a great job and she used her "Daisy" voice.

A SWEET FUSION OF HEART, HEAT, HUMOR & FRIENDSHIP

Kat's business partners/best friends send her off on a wine tasting trip to Napa Valley.. trouble is Kat has never flown before and once on board she becomes a fraught bundle of nerves. Luckily the handsome hottie sitting in the seat next to hers has a very calming influence on Kat and their easy smooth humorous banter soon works its magic. But a very bumpy landing had Kat running for the restrooms as soon as they landed and the only thing she learned about her charismatic saviour was his name.. Mac.

However, Mac had asked all the right questions and knew exactly where the funny intelligent nervous woman who'd so easily captivated his interest was staying and what tour she was attending.. because he was headed there too. And soon Mac and Kat were reunited - tasting more than just the wine offered. BUTTERFLIES & SMILES THANKS TO A GIFTED AUTHOR

Julian Sinclair is a hot Hollywood star and he first kissed Medical Assistant Kristin in book 4 when he desperately tried to escape some frenzied fans.. and from then on he becomes fixated on 'getting to know' Kristin a whole lot more intimately. But these two are polar opposites and constantly verbally spar with each other - so how can Julian break through Kristin's prickly exterior she keeps just for him to see if there is something more between them. This Series Gets Better With Each Book!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! This book will hit every emotion you have at least twice! Its twisty, sad, sweet and sexy all in one. Willow has had a lot of loss in her life and she is just trying to go through the motions of living when Ash appears on her doorstep (almost literally). Ash is a rocker with a lot of guilt about the past who is planning to live his life in the fast lane making no real connections to anyone except the people already in his life. These two have great chemistry and they are a big ball of issues but together they might just get past them! This entire series has been great but this one is probably my favorite <3

The narration was PERFECT!!! Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber are both excellent narrators and were a great choice for this book!

They Just Keep Getting Better and Better

Every time I think this series has peaked the next book comes out. If it's possible I think each book gets better than the last book in the series. I'm so hooked. Ash and Willow give all the feels -- makes you just want to take your heart out and give it to them. I like that events from the group's past are revisited from Ash's point of view and we get insight in to more of the group's past and how it affects their group dynamics presently. Kudos to A.L. Jackson for keeping the entire Sunder family engaged in each book. I'm really looking forward to Zach's story so we can find out the how's and why's of his celibacy.

Fabulous job narrating by Andi and Zachary expressing the passions and emotions of Ash and Willow to the point that you feel as if you're there experiencing all the feels too.

Absolutely worth a credit or whatever price you paid. This author with these narrators are a fantabulous buy. I have listened to over 1100 audio books and it's rare that I give 5 stars across the board but this is one of my favorite authors and favorite series with two of my favorite narrators. This is win, win, win all around!

Outstanding on Every Level

A.L. Jackson you were born to do this, I became a "audio fangirl" in early 2015 but WOAH I think each book just tugs my heart strings more and more each time... I cried several times on this one I can't wait for the next one (I assume will be for Lyric's love story).... BRAVO again!!!

Happy "Gotcha" Day!

I love coming across a "new to me" author who not only impresses me with a WONDERFUL, well written story, but can hook me with just one story and Vi Keeland did just that! WOW! This was a fun, feel good romance, with a solid plot, and ticked off everything I love in a good audio! I had a BLAST listening too this one! Kudos Vi!

Drew Jagger has become one of my favorite characters. He was complex with all the typical attributes sexy, hot, confident, and arrogant; however, he was also caring, vulnerable and has a teasing personality. All his one-liners were hilarious! I liked his actions were justified by his past and everything he sees and does on a daily basis. You really understood his motives.

Poor Emerie Rose had me cracking up with all her dumb luck! She was so sweet, had a heart of gold and only focused on bringing out the best of everyone; however, she could be a little naïve at times. These two were polar opposites but had a magnetic attraction that pulled them together. He's the divorce lawyer, and she's the marriage counselor. They were a hilarious match!

Their relationship evolved naturally; it wasn't forced, rushed or instant. Not only was their sexual relationship developed but also their friendship. These two went from being strangers to friends then lovers. Vi did an amazing job building their relationship, off the charts chemistry and sexual tension between the characters.The sex scenes were HOT & STEAMY!!!

The writing blew me away! The story had a great flow, the dialogue was clever, witty and had a realistic feel, and each scene had the right amount of description.
