"You shall be plagued by the strange and evil until the end of your days!" Soon after that, the boys were menaced first by a sultry demon and then next by a terror not of this earth.

Great entertainment
Cecil and Bubba have got it all, they're hilarious and action packed with unique plots that have kept me quite amused and entertained! Can't wait to read more of C&B!
Four Stars
Quick enjoyable story.
If you only read one collection about characters named Cecil & Bubba this year, make it Redneck Curse
Three great stories all in one book.
Cecil & Bubba meet a Succubus: 5 out of 5 Stars
I was skeptical when I first saw the title. Horror and comedy are hard to mix. Jeff Strand can nail it and so does Terry M. West. Think of this as the redneck version of Abbott and Costello.
Cecil and Bubba are two good ol' boys that try to make a quick buck anyway they can. They meet a man that wants them to join him in investigating the local haunted house. They figured they wouldn't have to do much and weren't really believers in the supernatural. As you can guess by the title, it doesn't go as planned.
The characters, while comical and outrageous, still seemed believable. Their background and the way they spoke grounded the story in reality before we took a leap into the supernatural.
Cecil & Bubba meet the Thang: 5 out of 5 Stars
Horror. Check. Comedy. Check. Science Fiction. Check. Terry M. West really nails it with Cecil & Bubba meet the Thang. It was fast paced and full of action, but somehow still really funny at the same time. He pulled it off once again with his cursed pair of rednecks.
Cecil meets Bubba: 4 ouf of 5 Stars
Nice little story for the fans. There's not too much to it. It is how they met and it was interesting to know. I'd love to see some more young adventures of Cecil and Bubba.
Do yourself a favor and get this collection.
Fans asked and West answered!
Itâs great to find the novellas âCecil and Bubba Meet a Succubusâ and âCecil and Bubba Meet the Thangâ under one cover. Itâs never a dull moment as these two characters blunder from one disaster into another, and their antics always leave a smile on my face. You just canât help loving these guys!
West does a fabulous job bringing these characters to life and filling the prose with colorful Southernisms that make the stories a giant leap above most horror writing. Many fans enjoyed these two stories and begged West for more. Iâm delighted to see that Southern Fried Hex is on the way. At the end of this book thereâs a teaser short story thatâs a prologue to Southern Fried Hex about how Cecil and Bubba first met when they were kids. The writing is great. The characters are fantastic.
