The way Mr. Smith read this book really brought the characters to life. He read with such feeling that my emotions ranged from simple happiness to anger, frustration, edginess, sorrow, joy, and more!

This story is a wonderful example of God's love for us, and how no matter what we've done in our past or if we've tried and failed to turn over a new leaf, that God will forgive if we only repent! This is a book that I will definitely listen to again!

Each one a tasty treat

Sarah stories are like potato chips... You are not satisfied with just one. What is not to love about these heartwarming tales of a heavenly, but very human-like, bumbling angel out to help couples fall in love?

What fun!

This book has it all--romance, humor, mystery, and suspense! The zany little angel named Sarah will make you smile, laugh, grin, and shake your head. Yet there were serious passages that gripped my heart also. I found the description of the (invisible to us) angels worshipping right along with a human congregation to be touching. It makes me wonder who's on the roof on Sunday morning?? Rarely do I enjoy the second book in a series more than the first, but that's the case with "Laney's Angel". I also like the fact that, even though the "Sarah" books are a series, they can be read in any order. If you're looking for a lighthearted yet sometimes thought-provoking read, I definitely recommend this one!

Sarah returns to Earth!

In the second installment of the Sarah series, the directionally challenged angel of love returns to Earth to bring another couple together. Only this time, something sinister lurks. Sarah has a difficult time sticking to her match-making duties when her protective instincts kick in. What I love most about the Sarah stories is the reminder I get that angels are all around us. After finishing Mrs. Lewis' books, I can't help but imagine divine intervention in every pencil that drops to the floor, every billboard message, or every random person sitting in the next booth eating a cheeseburger. What's real....and what's an angel? I recommend this book about a very special angel named Sarah.

Wonderful Story!

You cannot go wrong with this book. Sarah: Laney's Angel is an enjoyable read that will leave you wanting more.

When Laney goes to work for the handsome Cannon, Sarah must work to bring the two together. Cannon is attracted to the beautiful Laney, but she is cautious about dating her boss. When several misfortunes happen to Laney, her warrior angel is sent to protect her.

Who is trying to harm Laney. Also will Sarah be able to accomplish her mission to bring Laney and Cannon together?

This is a wonderful story and I look forward to reading Sarah's next adventure.

What made the experience of listening to Amanda and Cecil Get the Boot the most enjoyable?

I think the unexpected events in this story made this one of the most exciting romance books I've ever listened to. Gripping, sorrowful, tender, infuriating, exasperating, on the edge of my seat!

Which scene was your favorite?

This is really a tough question to answer! The scenes evoked such intense emotions! I think the scene at the river, while not a 'favorite' (because it was so horrible) was the most intense.

I highly recommend this book -- excellent story by the author and superb reading by the narrator!

What a wonderful story!

What was one of the most memorable moments of There Is No Need for a Mail Order Husband: Finding Toby down by the Stream?

I particularly liked the scene in which Nancy cared for her horse and his reaction to her tenderness toward him. Mr. Smith read with such depth, it made me want to own a horse!

Which character as performed by Joe Smith was your favorite?

I especially liked Mr. Smith's portrayal of Toby :-)

I particularly liked the first meeting of Toby and Nancy. Mutual enjoyment of God's Word is a wonderful foundation on which to form a relationship. The Bible verses they shared are also some of my favorites :-)

Well now... this was pretty darn good!

Well... I wasn't expecting that. The way this book started... I was so close to hitting the delete button on my Kindle. But I stuck with it and boy I was soooo glad I did. Right around chapter 4ish the book really picks up... but it was after party and Razer F* up big time that the book took off.

I loved the chemistry between Beth and Razor. It was really done well... after Beth move into the clubhouse... Her goody christian behavior is actually such a touching plot point in the end... OMG... I am still crying!! **Tear-drop**

But the all time best ever in the uninverse "break-up" scene still has me reeling... OMG! I was angry, sad, excited, in shock, I think comotose at one moment, and even horrified!!! It was the best, I mean the best ever break-up scene I have ever read/listen too... It was so good... I forgave the beginning of this book...just to get to that scene... AMAZING...

Narration was so-so for me... that turn into just right... Like I said...the beginning is brutal, I just didn't like it at all... and then all of a sudden, the whiney voice of Beth just worked, the gruffness of Razor's voice worked really well...the story all just came together in the end...

So worth a credit or sale... and Yes, I think even a buy... simply because of that break-up scene.

Wow...What a CLUSTER F***

Horrible does not begin to cover how much I hated this book. Talk about the hero being an arrogant D-bag and the heroine a whimpering- skittish being.

Beth, having been raised is a very christian home somehow (really i can't explain it) becomes fascinated with Razer who is a giant ass! The author tried to make us see him as this millitary guy who joined a motorcycle group so that he can belong... Let's not forget this 'motorcycle' group is so quick to call the cops when shit hits the fan??? Unbelievably silly...

The entire book is Beth bending over backwards to fit her life into Razer's world. The only concession Razer makes is to "agree" to break up with Beth should he desire to have sex with some other female BUT he still gets to share his body other ways. Come on now, really???

I can go on and on about this book but the bottom line is...if all you want is eroticism from this book then buy it... but if you are a fan of romance and want a story that will grip your heart and whisk you away to HEA-ville then don't waste you time or credit.
