Cool

I like reading stories about werewolves one of my favorites genre to read. I thought this short story was interesting I enjoyed listening to it. I just didn't know if the narrator was a man or woman lol but any who good book.

The story just did nothing for me. I didn't really like Kellen. He was weak and kind of pathetic. Lyndsay wasn't that impressive of a character either. It didn't leave me wanting to know more about them at all. I felt no connection to the characters. Maybe if there had been more to them I might have but as they are...NO

I found the narrator to be not bad at doing voices. Though being a female herself I would think she would be able to do a better female voice. Lyndsay sounded childish.

Forbidden Secrets!

I thoroughly enjoyed this short story and I really wish it had been a long novel instead of a novella. Author Olivia Myers has written a great paranormal fantasy, my favorite genre to be honest. I thought the story was written extremely well, there's some hot romance, secrets to be unraveled, and some twists and turns along the way. I highly recommend this story and I will admit it's worth reading/listening to. I will also like to let the author know from a person that uses credits and buys audiobooks that it's much cheaper to make an audiobook in a full length audio atleast 6-8 hours. As a person who uses credits and purchases audiobooks all the time, I won't ever use a credit or spend $3.00 or over for anything less than a 5 hour audio. I would recommend making this series into a bundle boxed set for audio format or just make the stories longer. This is a great story nevertheless.

Audrey Lusk did a great job with her narration of this story. I think that her voice for Lindsay was perfect but with Kellen she needed to do some more work with his voice.

Talented tentacles!

So, I was in the mood for something different, and Ive have this book for a while. After thinking, how much more different can you get than a post-apocalyptic octopus shifter story? I said WTHIve only heard good things, Ill give it a shot. Ill admit, I didnt know if the whole octopus thing would work for me, or if Id just be weirded out by it, butHOLY CRAP! I am in love with everything about this story!

Never Knew Cephalopods could be so sexy!

I will admit to a little doubt in the beginning. The history lesson at the start had me thinking that this wasn't the kind of book I was hoping it would be but I kept with it. I'm so glad that I did! What a wild ride! Teagan and Ari have got to be the hottest trans-species couple on the planet!

I wasn't too sure about the narrator at first, either but her ability to make the characters come to life was amazing! Great read! I will definitely look for more from this author.

Very unique story, can't wait to read/hear more

I enjoyed the story of Teaganand Ari that Anastasia told with this book. It took me a few chapters to get used to the narration style of Ms Purdum but once I did, I couldn't remember why it did. I love the idea of a future where the gods of old are back again with various groups of species that are human but extra because of their beliefs. The ultra conservative fringe organization was very believable because it's such a human thing. I will be getting book two next pay period to see what happens to the other members of Teagan's family that Daigo mentioned were holy.

Loved this book. Want the next one!

Eternal Echoes is set in a world where human-like species have popped up all over the place. We are only introduced to a few of these nonhuman groups, but I believe most are some form of shifters. I have never come a cross a book with an octopus shifter until this one. To me, the species was more like mermen with octopus legs instead of tails while in salt water. When I read "shifter" (which I believe the book never refers to them as), I think of the person 100% changing into the second creature. Ari remains humanoid from the torso up, which is great for dialogue and saving damsels in distress. Since our leading lady is human, most of the book is NOT spent in the sea, leaving Ari in his fully humanoid form.

My favorite to date LOVE It, laughed and chuckled

This was such a fun read I loved how Hope and Jaydan buttheads they just cant seem to be able to get along. When they take a trip together things really get very interesting as they fight each other every step of the way. When he has to get to his brothers wedding the turnout is amazing.

I thought Fred Filbrich did a wonderful job of narration. The only issue I found was I could hear him swallow. I thought he brought the characters to life giving them wonderful voices with lots of action. His tones where right on the money you were never left guessing as to how the character was feeling. You could hear the pain, smiles and excitement with each one. I heard no background noise and I could not tell if he ever took a break. The volume stayed the same throughout the audio what you hear is a very clean and clear audio. It was even flow throughout the whole narration. His normal voice is very pleasant and very easy to listen to. It was easy to tell if the character was male or female as he changed back and forward, I had no trouble knowing who was talking and what they were feeling. I really enjoyed his narration and do look forward to listening to him some more.

Jaydan has supernatural strength that at times he has trouble handling and does get him into hot water when others get a first hand view of it. But Hope seems to get herself into trouble more times than a cat has lives. Hope is more than a pretty face with lots of money she has special powers of her own

With Hope feeling like she must prove herself and Jaydan trying to keep her out of trouble these two take off on a trip to find one of the agents soon to be sister in law that has been missing for years. Things take a fast turn for the worse as new characters are bought into the story and old ones come back causing trouble. The chemistry between these two are off the chart with makes for some fun listening. So far this story is my favorite out of the series.

I will never tire reading the Hidden Series

I am saddened to hear that the hidden series is over. I would love to this as an HBO series. Engaging stories that tie in mythology with the supernatural. Stories that help us to recognize that bad does not always mean bad and that negative energy can be rerouted so that it is being used to do good. I would recommend this book to young adults and, up as some of the scenes may be a little racy, but not the center of the story all though it does focus on love, at all levels.

Three Cheers for Hephaestas

I truly enjoy it when Colleen does an expanded look at one of the primary sub-characters in the ongoing series. In this instance, she shows us Hephaestus, the God of Blacksmithing, and a really cool guy on the side of good, and the lady he loves. Can one really ask for anything more? I didn't think so.

Love it!

I absolutely love the world that Colleen Vanderlinden has created! So many great characters. Heph is one of those great characters and deserves the spotlight! I can't get enough.

Hephaestus makes a great, if reluctant, romantic hero

Earth Bound is more paranormal romance and is Hephaestus's story. He has chosen to follow Mollis back and help in the human world. I like Hephaestus and hoped he would get his own happily ever after. His interactions with Nain and Mollis are funny. Earth Bound is a great read, and I love this world.

Loved it

I'm glad I know what happened to Heph!! He's such an integral part of the story...and I'm glad we followed his story. Highly recommend this book to all! ( especially if you like gods and stuff like that)

Hades help me

I am a serious myth buff. any type of myth all myth. I love it. That being said this brings the old myths from ancient times to a whole new sultry, smoky level. When you are in the middle of this set of stories you get transported to a whole new place where the god and goddess walk the earth once more and have feelings equatable to lust and love. This author took some wonderful old myths and gave them a fresh never seen before spin to make them new. Did I mention your first hero is yep you guessed it Hades! What are you doing still reading this? Go fall face first into the magic of modern day mythology come to life!

Olympus Worthy Pleasure

What did you love best about Fated Mates (Anthology)?

I love mythology and this was a great combination of sexy scenes and myth. It's not often you come across a series as hot as this one.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Hades and he was portrayed so well in this anthology although Hypnos and his sexy accent will have a special place in my heart. :p

All About The Ending

Erica's an orphan who found a pack member in Finn, one of the three princes in their lands. Years later, they're older, and things have changed between them. Her heart beats faster when he's near, but he's completely clueless to it all. Then his brother, the middle child, asks her out and she later finds out that he'd planned to propose to her. Her caretaker only wants the best for her, and seeing as that no one else's come to ask for her hand in marriage, Paul seems like a pretty good choice. He's well-off, kind, and obviously infatuated with her. But even if he looks like the better choice, she can't help but think of Finn's silence, and the way he doesn't react to her. Or doesn't he?

The story was amazing, but the book and its delivery was a little slow or choppy for me in the middle. It started off with a great hook, but once the plot started to thicken, it all seemed like, "You'll be asked out by him. Yes, now you will run. Now go do this. Okay, now that. Then this will happen." Just stuff like that. The flow wasn't very good for me, and it didn't really improve in the end. THE END THOUGH. UGHHH <3

The ending totally blows all the imperfections away for me, but I can't overlook it for the sake of rating. The flow isn't very good through most of the book for me, and if it'd been smoother, this would be a definite 5 Stars. But back to the ending... I can't tell you without giving it away and spoiling it for you, but I've got to say - there was something about it that resonated with me. Depressed me, yes, but it was still beautiful in the most sharpest sense of reality. Does that make sense?

If you like villages and curses, witches and trolls, you'll love this. My friend read it with me and she said it was 'kind of depressing' and it's true, but the story's still really good. It was free when I got it, and it might be still on Amazon if you go and look for yourself.
