This episode is for my beloved service animal Rupert Tuck, my french bulldog, that I lost at only 2 years old on 11/29/2023 due to an aggressive and traumatic health condition. When losing a pet, the grief is beyond words. But when losing a pet that is covered under a warranty after spending thousands & thousands of dollars, the research begins of the "WHY". Which in this case, led to secrets and lies uncovered from start to finish. This episode is to share Rupert's story and legacy, and to bring awareness to my home state of Arizona. No one deserves to feel this pain, no animal deserves their life cut short, and CHANGE has to happen.

As seen in the new People magazine article of December 18th, 2023 "I'm Healing At Last". I sit down with Stephanie Langlitz, sexually abused at the young age of 14 by her teacher. The abuse happened for years, until she was able to stand up for herself and stop the behavior. However, the affects lingered for decades. When she turned 30, she felt it was time to move on in healing and stop her perpetrator from doing this behavior to others, as at the time he was still teaching in the state of CO. Going through reporting, law enforcement, and a trial her perpetrator was sentenced to justice. We talk about the red flags and ways parents can speak to their children, follow the signs, and talk about the fears and restrictions on reporting for victims.

When it was reported that Chad Stephens, homeowner and boyfriend of Heather Schwab (who had been reported missing since June of 2023) had been found and Chad arrested. Heather's remains were found, in the refrigerator of her boyfriend in their home. Media took to the story, and reported that Heather had been in a domestic violence environment, and "didn't leave".
