According to the NSVRC one in three female victims of completed or attempted rape experienced it for the first time between the ages of 11 and 17. These are our children, our students and our relatives. May this podcast continue to spread awareness on how to support those who have gone through such an unimaginable experience, putting aside our own personal feelings and guilt in the process. 

On this episode my friend Sadie and I discuss her horrific experience of being sexually assaulted as a youth. We talk together about her feelings of isolation after the event, the importance of setting and keeping physical boundaries and how to support (even with difficulty) a victim of rape.
