Enjoy our first Teacher Spotlight episode!
Bijan is not only a long time listener of Little Red School House, he is also a former freelance mural painter, juvenile correctional teacher, alternative school teacher, and now an art teacher living in China.
In this amazing episode Bijan shares many interesting stories - specifically why he and his wife moved to China, and, the details on how their life has been since their move.
After successfully tackling technical difficulties, and time zone screw ups on our end, we managed to have an amazing conversation and episode with Bijan :). I also enjoyed meeting, and talking with a fellow art teacher - John.
Bijan also created the cover art for the Xiangyu album.
Let us know what you think about this episode, and, if you have any teachers you specifically want us to spotlight.

Little Red School House focuses on issues with our current education system and ways we can empower students, educators, and anyone who cares about education.
Shouldn't people be put before profits? Shouldn't our children be educated to grow and learn instead of being treated like the means to the financial gain of those in power? If you agree with this so-called "radical" and "revolutionary" perspective, you've come to the right place!
Join educators Gord Milstone and John Battalion as they call out systemic problems and discuss how we can break down barriers in the educational system. Engage with us on social media at @LRedSchoolHouse on twitter. You can also find us on Patreon at patreon.com/LittleRedSchoolHouse.

We are excited to share the first episode of our new series - We Can Make it Better!
Our first guest is Breht Oshea the host of the amazing Revolutionary Left Radio podcast.
Breht is the reason why Gord and I started this podcast. Breht's voice and amazing ability to help others understand our past historical injustices is why Gord and I wanted Breht to be the guest to voice the first episode of our anti-apocalyptic show. Luckily, Breht, as a parent of two children felt a connection to our series.
Our goal is to make it easier to imagine the end of Capitalism than the end of the world.
Gord, Breht, and I are extremely proud of this episode.
Listen and Enjoy!
And please show your solidarity by letting us know what you think about this episode.

School has started for some and is starting again soon for others. That is why on today's episode of LRSH we once again discuss in depth the numerous mass killings that have been occurring, this time with the VP of the SRA - Socialist Rifle Association, Faye. You can listen to Faye's & the SRA's podcast here: https://socialistra-podcast.simplecast.com/ and find Faye on twitter here:@FayeEcklar.
We also delve into what the SRA is, and what the SRA does to help others. Faye also answers our tough questions, such as "Why does the SRA believe in arming the working class?", " Why the SRA believes gun control will not work?", and "What does the SRA believe is the best way for us to protect our schools from this increase in mass shootings?"

School has started for some and is starting again soon for others. That is why on today's episode, with returning guest Emily Leedham(community organizer & host of @RFRadioPrairie), we discuss in depth the numerous mass killings that have been occurring.
We delve into why the number of mass killings have risen to scary numbers, what Fascism and Anti-fascism are, what you can tell your students, or even your own children, and what we can do to fight back against Fascism in our schools and community.

On this episode, we discuss a Youtube video created and released by content creator Jim Sterling titled "The Addictive Cost of Predatory Video Game Monetization". Using this video we delve into the predatory nature of Capitalism through the lens of video games.
Learn about the British family that had one of their accounts emptied out by their children just by playing Fifa, and a chef who's gambling addiction was targeted by video game micro transaction.
Then we will share with you audio from Torulf Jernström, a mobile studio CEO whose tactics for hunting "whales" - the prime targets of microtransactions - sound scarily like instructions for selling drugs.
From "Hook Habit Hobby" you're about to learn just how low this industry's tricks get. Warning this gets horrible if you have empathy.
