Good show today with Attorney Joe Stanley, SG (at the end of course), and an astute caller who knows Glenn shouldn't speak politics with Atty Stanley. Glenn cued up last night's County Meeting YET, the listeners couldn't hear the meeting! Embarrassing, but that's showbiz!
No religion today, just good chatter from start to finish, including a look back at Ken Harblin and his wife Toni who were well known in Watertown back in the days. SG's name came up, for being wickedly mean about Ashley Babbit. Big Steve called up to get SG off the air. Glenn had a good rant about the Left's take on conservatives and white Americans. (8)
Glenn had a long conversation with Hotline Host Jeff Graham who was waiting in his Christmas Parade vehicle for tonight's Christmas Parade! Jeff and Glenn covered the local and national scene in about 20 minutes. Good calls after that too!
Great calls today, however no Attorney Joe Stanley. Instead, it was a great call from Louie who described his fender bender a few days ago. Jason wants change at City Hall even before the new administration actually takes over. Oh, Donnie called from Northern California where he's making $30 an hour and loving life!
Glenn has a problem deciding on what to discuss. Is it the Zoo, is it Israel? Well, how about both? So today's show was about Zoo stuff and some thoughts about why people of color seem to support the side in favor of terrorism. Perhaps it's because it's not about Israel, but it's about race relations in America.
It's back to reality on today's Monday after Thanksgiving weekend show! Glenn talked about the craziness related to the Hamas/Israel issue. This included the crazy story about the Queens High School teacher who was targeted for supporting Israel. This topic continued throughout the show and included a call from Michael Schwartz, who agrees with the callers, that young people simply have no clue what they're defending.
Glenn talked about the 60th anniversary to the JFK assassination, as well as what happened today in Niagara Falls. Then it was Attorney Joe Stanley and the local issue involving two big proposed projects without sufficient sewer water capabilities. Happy Thanksgiving all!
The owner of 'Make Cents Redemption Center', in Watertown, was in to talk about his current dispute with TAMRA. This is the company that pays for his cans and bottles each week. However, there was an alleged glitch in their computer system which lead to smaller payments to redemption centers throughout the state. Glenn fielded good questions from callers and hopefully today's show will give Bill some needed attention to our local NYS leaders..
Glenn had Mike Ricca the auction guy from our local WPBS TV station. Mike talked about his career, his family and how he knew his calling was to be at WPBS. Then Glenn had the show to himself and talked favorably about the Australian show called, Mr. In Between. A gritty, well-done show about bad people down under.
Good show today, Glenn got calls regarding the new committee to help the future of the Thompson Park Zoo. Mayor Jeff Smith called in to explain everyone, including former Mayor Jeff Graham was asked prior to accepting. Then Glenn had several conversations about the Osama Bin Laden 'Letter to America' from 2002, which went viral yesterday on TikTok. Young uses praised Bin Laden for his description of America.
