Live BOLD Movement

In this powerful episode of Live Bold Movement, we explore the journey of embracing God confidence during seasons of waiting and uncertainty. Learn how to show up authentically in every area of your life - from motherhood to business - by trusting in God's perfect timing rather than falling into the comparison trap.

Episode Highlights:

The True Thief of Joy [01:40]

- Beyond the common saying that "comparison is the thief of joy," discover how the real thief is the enemy who seeks to steal your joy, kill your confidence, and destroy your calling.

- Reflection on the Easter story and the often overlooked significance of "Saturday" - the waiting period between crucifixion and resurrection.

Navigating Seasons of Waiting [03:21]

- Understanding how we can get stuck in metaphorical "Saturdays" - seasons of darkness, uncertainty, or waiting.

- The temptation to push our own agenda instead of trusting God's timing and resurrection power.

Recognizing the Enemy's Tactics [04:59]

- How comparison and self-doubt are tools used to distract us from our unique calling.

- The importance of discerning God's voice from the enemy's by spending time in His presence.

Breaking Free from Comparison [06:34]

- Embracing your unique calling and anointing instead of comparing yourself to others.

- Resisting the pressure to show up perfectly or "be on" all the time in motherhood, business, and community.

God Confidence vs. Self-Confidence [09:11]

- "Self-confidence says, I don't need God, but God confidence says with God's help, I will become all He has made me to be."

- How spending time in God's presence enables us to be more present in our calling, families, and businesses.

Embracing Your Authentic Self [10:50]

- The ongoing process of becoming more like Christ and who He created you to be.

- Standing in the power and authority of Jesus when facing attacks on your confidence and calling.

A Prayer of Blessing [12:28]

- Encouragement to hold fast to resurrection power and show up authentically every day.

- Remember that your primary identity is as God's daughter, and from that foundation, you can confidently step into all other areas of your life.

Join us as we discover how to trade self-doubt for God-confidence and learn to show up authentically in every season - especially in the waiting. Remember, Sunday is always coming!

In this heart-to-heart conversation, I'm joined by my dear friend Michele Smith as we dive into the beautiful journey of midlife and how to embrace this season with purpose, community, and faith. Michele shares her personal story of rediscovering herself after her children left home and how she's now empowering other women through her Midlife Mandate movement.

Episode Highlights:

**[2:45]** Michele and I celebrate the beauty of divine connections and how podcasts allow us to introduce our friends to our friends.

**[15:27]** "I woke up and just was in a rough place. It was hard. I had spent my entire life raising my kids and pouring into them and being mom. And all of a sudden, I woke up and I had all of these emotions and this perimenopause and I didn't know what was going on mentally, physically..." - Michele shares her raw experience of the challenging transition into midlife.

**[29:56]** Michele reveals how investing in herself through Brooke Thomas's mastermind helped her realize her "dreamer had been broken" and set her on a path to healing and purpose.

**[30:15]** "You weren't meant to do it on your own. We're created for community." - A powerful reminder that we need each other, especially in seasons of transition.

**[48:30]** Michele shares what living bold means to her and encourages women not to wait: "Your someday is right now. God is calling you to it right now. It doesn't mean you have to do it all right now, but start. Just start."
