Continuing on through Act 5 Act 2! If y'all have read this before, you know what that means -- MURDERSTUCK!
Unfortunately the Etsy shop I was talking about no longer has that keychain (I think it was a pre-order exclusive) but they have other stuff and could always make more cool shit in the future so keep an eye on them!
Get hyped for our special guest to wrap up Act 5 Act 2 next time!

Time to delve into the second part of Act 5! A5A2 really hits hard with the out of order plot threads and ramping up of stakes, and also has probably my favorite opening to any Act ever (we'll see if I'm proven wrong during the reread).

• (00:00) - Reconnecting With Lost Loved Ones

The following description was written by CohostAI:

Every story worth its salt has a rhythm to it, a pace that carries the narrative forward, and Homestuck is no different. So, what did we feel about how the story unfolded? Was it too slow? Too fast? Just right? And how about that troll discourse? Engrossing or exhausting? We explore all this and more, including the herculean task of editing a narrative as complex as Homestuck. And then there are those compelling themes - kids and trolls, world-building, till death programming language. We didn't just read Homestuck, we lived it.
/end AI description

Anyway AI also said this is the nonbinary episode, but really it's the troll focused episode that is Act 5 Act 1 aka Hivebent

This is a test episode for a podcast I want to do that gives me and my guests space to delve into the more controversial sides of fandom. Be prepared for taboo and adult topics, or skip this episode entirely! We'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming next week!

Have you ever felt shamed for your interests within a fandom community? Join me in a revealing conversation with guest Sgt Spank, known for his Bro Strider body pillow, as we tackle the topic of Homestuck fandom purity culture and its impact on fans. We share our personal experiences with this damaging mindset and discuss how it has affected our enjoyment of fandoms while navigating the path to self-acceptance.

Time to finish up Act 4! Lots and lots happens, including our first real experience with doomed timelines and Dave's time shenanigans! Also the first time Homestuck made me cry.
