Today on the show I talk with Mr. Papi himself and his son Jorge. They are co-owners of Papi’s Tacos! We talk trough their story starting back when Papi came to the United States in the early 90s. This helped David understand the full spectrum of musculoskeletal care and led to his specialty in the hip, shoulder, and spine.

After graduation, Dr. Jolson has continued his education by obtaining a growing list of additional certifications, diagnostic tools, and therapy techniques. He has presented injury prevention and biomechanical seminars throughout the country and for local athletic clubs and businesses.

Due to Amber’s own struggle with PPD (Postpartum Depression) as a new mom, she was determined to ensure that other moms unlike her were heard and supported, allowing them to be the best versions of themselves during the most important journey: motherhood.

Today on Live Life in Motion, I talk with Bruce Stephenson. Bruce is on the new Netflix show, Twentysomethings – Austin. Being a native of Greenville, SC I was curious and hopeful to see how he represented himself and the community. I was very impressed, and he did an amazing job.

We talk about life, his childhood with divorced parents, living with epilepsy, how he grew up loving theater, his love for sports and much more. Enjoy!

Jerry Blassingame is the Founder and CEO of Soteria Community Development Corporation. His story is powerful and needs to be heard. Jerry received a 20-year prison sentence in 1995 and only served 3 1/2 years after being paroled in 1999. His passion is assisting individuals who have been incarcerated through reentry and helping them to become productive citizens.

He endeavors to empower individuals and the community through education, affordable housing, financial literacy, community and economic development, and entrepreneurship. He is also a Social Entrepreneur who believes in social enterprise for the non-profit sector.  Jerry has continued to fight for change in legislation since he was granted a pardon in 2004. After 14 years of advocacy, South Carolina passed its first legislation to expunge felony drug charges in December of 2018.
