Here is the interview of Stephen See before the church.  Stephen has been recommended as an Elder candidate of Live Oak.  This interview is part of the process for the church to have her questions answered regarding this candidacy.

We look at a few different styles of church leadership and discuss why Live Oak adopted Elder-led church leadership.

God is growing His people to look like Jesus and this is discipleship.  His method involves us sharing our lives with each other.  As we share our relationship with God within our relationships with each other we are making disciples of ourselves and those around.  At Live Oak this happens best in our Life Groups.

Families serve each other.  It is how love is often expressed.  Because of God’s grace we are family and family serves.  But we don’t want to limit our service to each other when serving is one of the best ways to give testimony about Jesus.
