Do we miss God because we refuse to be uncomfortable?

Luke includes a group of miracle events that teach us some very important and powerful truths about Jesus. This truths lead us to the question, “How will we respond to Jesus?” It is the most important question we will ever answer.

Without faith it is impossible to please God therefore we should strive to increase our faith. This may seem at odds with the world that tries to downplay faith and make it seem silly. God gives His people faith and we are to work at its increase even if the world doesn’t understand.

What does the fruit of our lives say about us? A pear tree is known because it produces pears even if it were able to speak and claim to be an apple tree the pears give it away. What about us? Do our fruit and claims match?

Many in our society declare a person judgemental simply because the other person disapproves of that which they approve. If they know the other person claims to be Christian they might quote “Judge not lest ye be judged” as if this shows that their antagonist is being hypocritical. This is unfortunate and wrong.
