Marisa Merliss is a dancer, a fitness instructor, a fitness model and also a healer. After struggling with chronic pain for years, due to an injury while dancing and a traumatic event a few years later, she learned to “work smarter, not harder”, which culminated in trainings and certifications in the MELT Method®, BodyART™ and Pilates. Through practicing the MELT Method® and several other stabilizing modalities, Marisa went from feeling exhausted and physically debilitated to being fully active.
In this episode, we dive into Marisa's journey and some of the methods she uses to help others deal with chronic pain and improve overall physical performance.
