In this episode, I spoke to a ministry colleague of mine, gospel recording artist, Lee Booker. I simply admire how persistently he pursues his music dreams, how he refuses to compromise his values to get ahead, AND his excellent music! I wanted to learn what it is that keeps him going and his story encouraged ME to keep going.

In this episode I spoke to a longtime friend of mine, Michelle “The Pink Lady” Brown, a breast cancer awareness warrior. I realized that although I’ve seen her in action and supported her efforts for years, I never knew her “origin story” and in this interview, I found out.

I hope that her story inspires YOU to take what God has placed in your heart to do and DO IT. Start where you are with what you have and you’ll be amazed by how your obedience, faithfulness, and diligence in watering that seed will cause it to grow in ways you never expected and bear much fruit. 🙏🏾

In this episode I spoke to a sweet friend of mine, Abbey Dean and her dear husband, Amos. I am so proud of the kingdom work they are doing in the media and film industry and I wanted to hear their story. Little did I know I was getting a two for one! 💔We set ourselves up for hurt that God never intended for us to experience when we step outside of His will in relationships, adopting a worldly view on dating. I believe that when we honor God in our relationships, He will bless us beyond our imagination.

❤️‍🩹We hear women speak on this all the time so in this episode, I wanted to share a man's perspective on dating God's way. And guess what, there are Christian men out there who are seeking to date God's way, the same as Christian women! (So of course I asked, "Where they at?") Live Set Apart! is turning 1!

🎉 It’s almost been a full year since I kicked off the Live Set Apart! podcast, on a mission to inspire listeners to embrace their unique gifts, be who God created them to be, and change the world in their unique way. This means NOT conforming to this world, NOT conforming to who others want us to be, and NOT conforming to who we think we should be in comparison to someone else.

👉🏾 As Children of God, we have a mandate to stand out in a way that points others to Christ. It’s not always easy and it doesn’t look the same for everyone. By sharing the stories of my inspiring guests, I want you to constantly be encouraged to not get weary in well-doing. Not only will you reap in due season if you faint not, but you will inspire others along the way!

🙌🏾 I’ve been productive during this year, as well. There is definitely a snowball effect happening. I’ve launched a podcast consulting service with several happy clients, AND I’m releasing a new product very soon! This has been a fun and productive time for me and I am so grateful that I stepped out and launched this project when the Lord gave me the idea.

🙏🏾 I know enough by now not to despise the days of small beginnings and I KNOW that this next year will yield an even GREATER harvest!
