I met Rob years ago, read his books, AND recently took his Wealth Wisdom Stewardship course (an 8-week course, kicking off for another round SOON). I love his practical approach and desire to see EVERYONE W.I.N.--which is also one of his book titles, Wealth Increasing Now.

In this episode, I share a heartfelt message about moms ahead of Mother's Day and UNPACK my interview with mom, Benevolence Ingram and her son Cameron Patrick. I realize that Mother's Day can evoke a myriad of emotions for people and felt led to share my personal experience of the miraculous restoration of my relationship with my dad to encourage those who have a hard time around Mother's Day due to the tumultuous relationship that they have or have had with their mom. Although, my experience is with my dad, the situation can very easily mirror a mother and child relationship. 

I apologize in advance for the snot sounds and ugly crying. Thankfully for me, this episode is not available UNCUT! 

Next, I share THREE KEYS, taken from my interview with Benevolence and her son, to help parents and future parents let go and let God when it comes to raising godly children.

In this episode, I had the privilege of speaking with one of my high school classmates, Benevolence Ingram, Mays High Class of 2000--the BEST class, as we mentioned during the show--and her talented, well-spoken, self-assured, entrepreneurial, wise and god-fearing son, Cameron Patrick, CEO of Capturing Memories! She recently announced the launch of his new business and I was SO proud. Proud of him, of course, but even more proud of my classmate because I know that his success was a direct result of her success as a parent.   

Hear some of the ways that her faith allowed her to be the best parent she could be and how that set her son up for success and how her letting go and letting God has helped Cameron to become the man he is today.

Happy New Year! 

Each year typically has a theme. This year's theme for the Live Set Apart! community is: Pursue in 2022! As my episode 12 guest, Curtis Clark, put it so plainly, "we must pursue our passion." THAT's exactly what we're going to do!

I'm extremely grateful to be beginning this year in a better place than January of last year. I hope that you can say the same (Think back...I'm sure you have grown in some area of your life!).
