In Live Set Apart! Episode 05, I interviewed Korey Maryland, an accomplished musician and businessman and recent MBA. 

Korey and I had the privilege of serving together at my home church, Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Austell, GA, and he stood out! He never had a negative word to say, he was always encouraging, and he was always positive. He has just been a light and a constant source of encouragement. In this interview he shares some highlights of his journey and what keeps him pushing others to be all that they can be.

You’ll notice a recurring theme that confirms that the road to discovering and fulfilling your purpose starts with connecting to the One who created you to fulfill that purpose. This episode builds upon the previous ones in a divinely orchestrated way.

In Live Set Apart! Episode 03, I talked with BJ Word, a phenomenal spoken word artist and a real, wise, and relatable counselor. She shared how authentically being who God created us to be frees us and the story of her journey from not being comfortable with the way God made her to boldly, confidently, and freely being EVERYTHING that He created her to be.

I wanted BJ as a guest because I have always admired her confidence. She struck me as someone who was FREE to be her true self and I was there for it! We talk about how she is now that person on the inside that I saw on the inside. She’s a counselor, so you know she breaks it all the way down.
