If I have a glass of water and I pour it out, what’s going to happen?
This isn’t a trick question.
The water is going to spill & get all over whatever is in the nearest vicinity.
It’s simple cause and effect.
Now water’s on the floor >>> EFFECT
and I have a mess to clean.
Why do we think that our experience of success is any different?
Why do we even entertain the idea that “it won’t work” if we choose to put in the work?
Better yet, why do we entertain the idea that it WILL work if we don’t put in the work?
Because success is just like that water in the cup-
It’s dictated by simple cause and effect.
Inputs and outputs, baby.
We’ve got to stop listening to all the bullshit that tells us otherwise, and realize that that “magic” IS IN THE INPUT.
Actually, magic = input + time + consistency + belief
I personally love this perspective because it gives me a sense of control.
My experiences aren’t limited by anything but ME.
It’s not up to fate or destiny - it’s up to me.
I collaborate & co-create with the universe, which means I do my part and then I trust in the magic of compounded intentional efforts made over time.
And if that’s the magic, then that means it’s available to all of us.
We just have to define the desired output and then commit to the daily input, trust the process over time, and believe it’s all working in our favor.
The greatest of the greats teach this very simple process, and then we the plebes of the world have the balls to question it.
If you’re given a game winning play by someone’s who’s won the game, and you’ve never even gotten off the bench - why the fuck would you think you’re qualified to change it??
And maybe the fact that you’re trying to is why you’re where you are and they’re where they are.
What’s your desired output?
And what inputs are you committed to today?
