Gerald “Godi” Riley is a father, entrepreneur, and overall hustler. Originally from Toledo, OH or “The Mud” as him and his team created. Godi spoke to us about his childhood, coming from the streets and learning early the value of both hustling and having a 9-5 from both his parents and grandparents. Godi is a silent force behind the strong brands of “I’m from the Mud”, “Midwest Kids” and “Rantho” short for Random Thought. His social media highlights his strong work ethic, but also his importance of family and his principles. We spoke on fatherhood, legacy and removing our egos as black men in order to fulfill our purpose. By far one of my favorite episodes to date. Godi was transparent, thoughtful and full of wisdom during this episode. Live Your Purpose
