  • "Yes, And" Health Check
It is the absolute golden rule of improv. It is painted on rehearsal room walls, printed on t-shirts, and it is the very first thing we learn in an intro class: "Yes, And."
But just because it is a foundational skill does not mean we always get it right. When we get tired, anxious, or a bit rusty on stage, our core mechanics can easily start to warp.
In this special solo episode, our host Iain Luke Jones is opening up the bonnet and running a full four-point diagnostic check on our favourite improv rule. Whether you have been playing for five minutes or fifteen years, it might be time for an MOT to see if you have fallen into some lazy, scene-killing habits without even realising it.
It is time to find out if your fundamental muscle is firing properly.
So, grab a brew, sit back, and let's run the diagnostics!
