Rachel Roth is the author of the horror novel, The Undead Redhead, and Dead Flies, a collection of short stories. Today we are doing a book about an octopus. If you have read this book, it's charming and will make you smile. If you haven't, I would recommend you pick it up. Our book club has done some heavy book and it was the request of some of our members that we did a lighter read.

This book might be considered a palette cleanser but it's a feel good book. Who doesn't like a happy ending?

Wellness by Nathan Hill is a book that explores all elements of relationships. This book was very interesting to discuss because there was a lot to dissect and not everyone in the book club had the same opinions. That's what makes book club interesting. JP Maxwell has run a newspaper kiosk, worked for a Californian software company and studied Russian language at the University of London. Now he writes books, makes films and lectures in Creative Writing and Digital Writing at Liverpool John Moores University.p

He has a passion for the more scandalous aspects of history that reveal truths about modern life.

July 1st 2023 saw the launch of his debut novel WATER STREET, which details Liverpool's pivotal moment in 1863 during the American Civil War and how a secret battle was won and lost on its cobbled streets.
