It took great faith for Jocabed to place a three month old infant in a boat and let go of it. She had to watch it travel down the river--seemingly unprotected. It had to have been very difficult naturally for this mother to let that baby go.

But that it what God is asking us to do with our children. We have to trust them to the Lord. We have to build that ark of protection around them, by prayer and by faith in God.

There’s no time to despair or continue to beat yourself up over what you did or didn’t do for them.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:4-6

Now is the time to fully put your trust in God for the salvation of your children! No matter what circumstance they are in, God is able.

Ephesians 1-3 has given us a revelation of our wealth in Christ.

The wealth of the believer should be manifested in his walk.

The revelation of divine truth becomes fruitful only as it is transmitted in life. Revelation must eventuate into realization; illumination into application.

One of the brightest converts of a Gospel Mission had become a backslider. In an interview with the minister, he thought he would gladden his heart by telling him that that he believed everything in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. The only reply from the minister was, “If you believe it, then why do you not live it?”

God is trustworthy and will always be faithful to guide you. What we see or focus on determines our life goals. Failure is not an event. It's an opinion. Failure cannot happen in your life without your permission. Failure will only last as long as you permit it!

If you've been in church for more than 5 minutes, then you've probably been offended. Church leaders often call the body to be in unity, but they don't give them the tools to do so and often people don't know how to get free from offense and forgive like the Lord wants them to.

They deal with God’s unconditional love, and what it means to be “in Christ.”

They also cover salvation by grace rather than works, the mercy of God and other subjects.

The last three chapters deal more with what our behavior should or should not be as believers in Christ.

It is important to have a solid foundation of who we are in Christ before dealing with behavior!
