Luke 11:5-13 | The enemy does not have to defeat you. He simply has to outwait you. Sometimes Christians give up on prayer when the answer takes longer than they expect. However, Jesus taught persistence in prayer was the key. Instead of giving up, there are times when we need to dig in and keep praying. Then, prayer moves us from being defeated to determined.
Acts 12:1-17 | Living among so many you can still feel alone. That sense of isolation grows exponentially when you face a serious struggle. However, Christians have an alternative. Prayer connects us with God and allows us to share in the struggle of others. When we pray for others and see God work, we move from feeling alone to being amazed at what God has done.
