Hey friend, welcome back to The Living Faithfully Fit Podcast! If you’re feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and stretched thin, today’s episode is for you.

We’re diving into Mark 14:27-42, where Jesus prays in the Garden of Gethsemane. But our focus? Peter. A disciple with the best intentions, but a man who ultimately gave in to exhaustion and fear because he wasn’t spiritually prepared.

Jesus said in Mark 14:38: "Stay awake and pray so that you won’t enter into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

And isn’t that exactly where we find ourselves as moms? We want to be patient. We want to trust God. We want to walk in faith. But when we’re tired, stressed, and running on empty, we fall back into our weaknesses.

And while I’m still a work in progress, the past five years have been the most peaceful of my life because of this one shift.
