Living in the Red

Growing up in the red ain't easy, well, sometimes it is. Depends on who you are. In the inaugural episode of Living in the Red, Cory and Cody describe where they both came from and detail the influence these humble beginnings have had on their adult lives. Cory explains the harsh yet resilient legacy of Anniston, Alabama, his hometown, while Cody tells us what it was like growing up in the suburbs of Birmingham. Cody also gives us a breakdown of what it was like living in the blue city of Austin, Texas during the chaotic era of the 2016 Presidential Election, while Cory details the very blue places he's lived in outside the south, from San Francisco to New York City.
