JoJo Pearson serves as the Athletic Director and Head Varsity FB coach at Regents School of Oxford. He has a family of three. He and his wife, Leanna, have been married for 9 years. They have a son, Kylar, who is five years old and will be back at Regents this fall. They worship at Community Church.
JoJo attributes a lot of his knowledge in athletics to his time playing college football. He was fortunate to play for two great institutions, the University of Memphis and the University of Mississippi. He most recently was able to play football for Coach Freeze at Ole Miss in 2012 and 2013. He learned a great deal about Football and Strength & Conditioning during his time in college athletics.
He has been in education and athletics officially since 2017. He has served as a teacher, administrator, and coach over the last several years. The Lord has blessed him and his family with amazing opportunities to lead young people in different capacities, and they are blessed and honored to be part of the Regents family.

Jessica Ellington is an author, artist, and speaker from Oxford, Mississippi. Her debut memoir tells the deeply personal story of losing her husband and two young children in a tragic car accident—and the long, often painful journey of learning to live again. With honesty, vulnerability, and unwavering faith, Jessica invites readers into the reality of profound grief while pointing to the hope and sustaining presence of God in the darkest seasons of life.

In addition to writing, Jessica is the founder of Poured Out Art, where she creates expressive abstract paintings inspired by emotion, music, and the beauty that can emerge from brokenness. Whether through her art, her words, or her speaking, her heart is to encourage others to believe that even when life doesn’t unfold the way we planned, God is still present, still faithful, and still making beauty from ashes.

Jessica’s greatest desire is that those who read her memoir or hear her story would feel less alone, find permission to grieve honestly, and discover that hope is possible—even after unimaginable loss.

Rebecca Lewis.  Rebecca shares about the loss of both of her parents since she was with us last fall. The trials that came before that and what God has taught her through it all. 

Scott Byrd is the Youth Minister at Christ Presbyterian Church in Oxford, MS. He attended Mississippi State (sorry) and Moody Bible Institute for undergrad, and earned his MDIV from Reformed Theological Seminary. Scott has served in youth ministry for almost two decades in parachurch and local church settings.  He and his wife, Grace Anne, have three amazing children. 

Sam McManus is a devoted follower of Christ and happily married to Milena McManus. Before their marriage in 2024, he spent years single and enjoys mentoring young men pursuing godliness and contentment regardless of their life stage. He has written two books to equip young single guys: The Prayerful Pursuit: 75 Prayers for the Unmarried Man and Reclaiming Singleness, which was published last year.  An Auburn University alumnus, Sam is currently working on his master's degree in Biblical Counseling at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He serves on the staff of Impact 360 Institute and lives in Pine Mountain, Georgia.

Michele McCay is a registered nurse of over 39 years. She’s blessed and honored to be serving folks all around the world in attaining health and wellness. She has a unique passion to share her health journey about prevention and optimal health after losing her mom to Alzheimer’s at age 62. Now she’s determined to get her message to the masses in hopes to inspire others in their journey back to health and prosperity by living out their God given purpose and passion.

In addition to her ministry work, Rebecca has enjoyed a diverse and rewarding professional career, including years in broadcast journalism, the pharmaceutical industry, public relations, etiquette coaching, personal mentoring and image consulting. Her ability to mentor others and communicate with grace has defined both her professional and ministry endeavors.

Rebecca is passionate about writing, Bible study, and creating meaningful moments through hospitality and fellowship. Above all, she is committed to building a personal legacy of faith that spans generations.

Terre” Jasper loves Jesus and longs to walk in His Truth. Because of Jesus, she has been married 34 years to Kevin Jasper. She has one son, Noah and a daughter in law, Jessica. Terre' is on her 28th year of fulltime church ministry. She has a Bachelor of Science in Communications & Theater from the University of the Cumberlands and a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has served on staff at 7 churches in her career but has been on staff with Pinelake Church total of 13 years.
