Scripture affirms that we do not worship that which is not the LORD God. We also witness instances when men are requested not to bow down to angels. However we see that Jesus received and accepted the worship of people. Words spoken by Jesus Christ set Him apart as the supreme and unique revealer of truth for no one else spoke like He did. Therefore the witnesses of Jesus Christ’s works of the supernatural were indeed out of this World. Jesus was also saying I am something for these “I Am’s” that being; the Bread of Life; the Good Shepherd; the Resurrection and the Life; the Way, the Truth and the Life; and the True Vine through whom life flows – how could anyone be such things without being the ultimate giver and sustainer of life? In other words, how could Jesus be such things without being God Himself? He made this known about Himself by combining the “I Am” Name with abilities only God has. #brendonnaicker #londoncitychurch

Christ made it clear that dead people cannot choose anything, that the flesh profits nothing and that a person must be born of the Spirit BEFORE he can even see the kingdom of God, let alone enter it.

Jesus Christ is the revealer of God in John 1:18, it states that, “No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father s side, he has made him known.” Jesus is the Messiah, He is the knowledge of God manifested to mankind, He is the only unique Son, eternally resting upon the side of the Father, in communion.

Titus 2:13-14 states, “waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.” There is no mincing of words here for it is clearly written that our Saviour Jesus Christ is God. So in “waiting for that blessed hope” - is “the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ”

Philippians 2:6 states, “(Jesus,) who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped.” The theological term referring to the union of the two natures in one person as the “hypostatic union”.
