In today's podcast I will discuss constipation, I have heard many people with Long Covid talk about how they are now experiencing constipation, myself included. Although my podcasts are lived experience of my own personal journey, I felt this is an important subject, as many people find constipation hard to talk about, therefore don't always seek help. I have experience as a bladder and bowel nurse practitioner, and although the podcast remains non medical, I felt able to share some lifestyle tips that I use myself, to combat constipation. I hope you find them helpful. These tips will be useful for anyone experiencing constipation, so please share.
On the next episode I am going to discuss pacing, how I am not so good at this at the moment however after a cycle of trying to push through and crashing, I am trying the 3 Ps. See you on the next podcast.

In this episode I will talk about one of my darkest moments when I contracted covid. I discuss the impact this has psychologically and emotionally. I also talk about the positive angle of the darkest days and how I am trying to live by mantra “face the fear and do it anyway”. In today's podcast I am going to discuss the impact of anxiety, it is not unheard of for long covid to be put down to anxiety, due to current lack of medical research and scientific understanding. 
Many people may have experienced anxiety prior to having long covid, I know I certainly had, I discuss how this can exacerbate and offer some self care tips for anxiety management , which I use myself. I hope this podcast encourages anyone with anxiety to reach out for support and creates understanding that anxiety is normal. In today's episode I am going to talk about the invisible elements of long covid, and how a comment/observation about my podcast picture, made me reflect on the symptoms of long covid you don't see. How such symptoms make living with long covid challenging, I hope to create a topic for conversation, which can lead to discussions outside of the podcast, raising awareness and greater understanding to employers, friends, family and long haulers themselves on the invisible symptoms.

In this episode I will talk about brain fog and how this impacts on life. The fear it evokes as well as trying to see the funny side. I recorded this on a difficult day living with long covid and have chosen not to edit, so you guys can get a feel for the reality of my journey. This is the first episode of living with long covid and in today's episode I will talk about voice distortion as a symptom associated with long covid. The professional help that can support improvement of audibility of the voice. What we can do to try and improve our voice quality. I will discuss my personal experience of voice distortion and you will hear my voice quality as it was during recording. I hope by sharing experiences anyone living with long covid or supporting someone with long covid will feel they are not alone.
