The launch of Pastor Jim’s new teaching series began this past weekend, entitled, “Praying Down the Rain.” It was powerful! He delved into past revivals to examine whether there were certain things that triggered the move of God in the land. And he found them! Plus, you’ll get to hear a prophetic word about our very own state—Minnesota! If there is anyone out there that feels “ho-hum” on the subject of end time revival, this series will bring an end to that. Apathy will disappear!

Rev. Jesse Duplantis based his message on Isaiah 65:24: “It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.” When you speak to God, He’s already putting faith on what you’re saying. The Lord sends the answer when your prayer is just a thought! Jesse said, “God will always do the maximum and not the minimum. I stopped using the word blessing because it’s not big enough. God hasn’t just blessed me, He’s overwhelmed me. Do you understand how much God wants to bless you? Jesus said, ‘If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.’ God is looking to bless you in every area of life, be it spiritually, physically, or financially! Get that down in your heart.

Pastor Mac delivered the fourth message in his eye-opening series, “Strategies of Deceit.” Understanding how the enemy operates is not optional, it’s essential. One of the enemy’s most dangerous tactics? Convincing people he doesn’t even exist.

Most folks don’t have a hard time believing in God. You look at creation, the intricacy, the beauty, the order and you know it didn’t happen by accident. But Satan? A cartoon villain with horns and a pitchfork? It’s easy to dismiss him as a myth.

And that’s exactly what he wants.

Because the moment you stop believing he’s real is the moment he gains ground in your life. As Pastor Mac put it, not believing in the Devil just gives him the freedom to "eat your lunch."

Pastor Mac taught his third installment of his teaching series entitled, “Strategies of Deceit.” As Pastor Mac has often said, “The enemy can’t defeat you if he can’t deceive you.” Why? Because Satan is already a defeated foe. The only way Satan can defeat you is to get you to believe something other than the truth. The enemy will make it his goal to deceive you into believing God’s will for you is anything other than life and blessing. In the end, you decide your life’s destiny based on your own decisions. Are you making decisions for life and blessing? Or death and cursing?

It goes against the grain of many people to even consider they could be deceived. They think to be deceived is an indication of a lack of intelligence or perception. But Pastor Mac says, “It doesn’t imply any of those things.” He says your behavior mirrors the things that you most strongly believe. Pastor Ken Olson shared with us a message on “Finding Your Voice in Prayer.” Noting that our nation’s Declaration of Independence declares that we, as citizens, have the right to pursue life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. He further added, “There’s nothing more empowering, more enabling to pursue life, liberty, and happiness and so many other things that God has planned for our lives than a pursuit of a lifelong relationship through prayer with our Heavenly Father.” Heaven isn’t just a place. Heaven is a divine flow!

Dr. James Tan spoke about the supernatural power people receive when they experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Entitled, “Power and Fire,” Dr. James taught all three weekend services on the basic fundamental truths concerning a believer’s encounter with Holy Ghost power! He stressed how important it is for all believers to have their own personal encounters with God the Holy Ghost for themselves. “You can’t live off someone else’s testimony,” he said. “You have to get your own experiences about encountering the power of the Holy Spirit for yourself.”

Have you ever been in a place in your life where you don’t know how to pray or what to pray… where you don’t have the words to express to God what you need from Him? It’s a place in which all born again believers have found themselves. This is the subject matter Pastor Jim taught us in his 37th installment of his ongoing series on the book of Romans—“Grace Unveiled.” It is the Holy Spirit that makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered in articulate language. About tongues, Pastor Jim said, “I do this for myself. You should pray in tongues for yourself. It’s a mistake not to!”
