This week we discuss a case over a hundred years old that is still considered unsolved. Abby and Andrew Borden were killed with a hatchet in their home while their daughter Lizzie was at home, also at home during the crime was the maid, Bridget Sullivan. Police quickly determine that this must be an inside job. Lizzie is arrested, put on trial for the murders, and then found not guilty by a jury of 12 men. The courtroom erupts into cheer. Back in the 1890's did they want to believe a woman could not have committed such a heinous murder. Or, did Lizzie pull off the perfect murder. You decide!
