Another cycle around the sun has been completed, rather conveniently the same length of time it takes us to gather together and compile a list of all of our favourite game we played this year. Come join the usual Game of the Year team (Urtheart, Turbo and ShadowFox) as they run down their first 3/5th of their games of the year for 2021.  Why 3/5th? cause if we went half, we’d have to cut someone off mid-way and that’s rather rude.

It’s the final part of the LMC Cast’s Red Dragon Inn game, and sheer chaos is about to descend on the table. Will Keet Indian jones his way to victory? Will Phrenk brew the STRONGEST potion? Will Nitrel explode over the finish line? Has Lizwick got an ace in her bag? Or will Evil Pooky and his doppelgangers devour the competition? After the dust settles, ShadowfFox regales us about finally watching the second season of Beastars, as well as watching the two Netflix series, Squid Game and Black Mass. And to round it off, Vanato has pulled out a few things from the vault.

Part four of five of the LMC Cast’s Red Dragon Inn game, and it’s really starting to heat up now. Everyone is taking pot-shots at one another, coin is piling up in certain places, and the booze isn’t slowing down. How much longer before someone falls? The Random Genius’s month has been more varied than the others, having enjoyed classics such as Tunnel Darkness, to the indie game ‘Unpacking’, as well as tuning into the LMCommander’s stream of XCOM 2. Of course, Vanato’s been in the vault and gotten something of The Random Genius’s….

Part three of five of the LMC Cast’s Red Dragon Inn game, and the drinks are starting to come in quite heavily. Has Lizwick bitten off more than they can chew? Is the bunny too powerful? And why are both Gogs suddenly here?! Vanato talks about his time playing Pokémon Shield, having to build a team based on what the others at the table, as well as Ram The Dragon and Dusk have given him, before rattling on about the imminent release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shinning Pearl.

Part two of five of the LMCast’s Red Dragon Inn game, and things are under way as everyone is making their play to start denting the competition with bombs, artefacts, potions and whatever is in the gnome’s backpack. Let’s hope no one is thinking about starting to hoard the coin. Urtheart talks about his time playing Metroid Dread, with The Random Genius pipping in a bit on his own experience with the game… and good lord, what has Vanato dug out of the Vault this time?!

It’s that time again, and all five of the LMC Cast Crew are at the table again to play one more game together for 2021. This time, they’ve taken to a popular choice usually seen on the LMC Twitch Stream, and that is Red Dragon Inn. Come, listen as a troll, two goblins, a gnome and an evil rabbit(?!) try to either drink one another under the table, or steal their coin. In this first part of five, Vger talks plenty about Star Trek.

It’s the finale of the LMC Cast’s game of Century: Spice Road, and things are coming to a head. The crew race to get the last points on the board before trading ceases. Before a winner of the spice trade war can be announced however, The Random Genius delves into the retro territory, playing some of the games from the recently released Castlevania collection, dabbling in Sonic Advance 2, and an old Metroid game in the run up to Metroid Dread.

We’re on to part three of the gang’s Century: Spice Road game and the pile of spice trade cards available is depleting fast. The crew better grab what they can, or their options are going to narrow when it comes to the prizes they trade for. Vger goes into his various star themed sci-fi shows, as well as Roki, a game he’s been playing on the switch. Elsewhere, Urtheart mentions Deltarune Chapter 2 a bit more, before he delves into Sonic Colours Ultimate and the recent release of Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.

It’s the second part of the LMCast’s game of spices, and the hoarding of spice cards is getting spicy. ShadowFox talks about a wide range of content this month, from Adventure time: Distant Land to Netflix’s Castlevania. He also talks about Valorant and his delve into the high-end GPU killer ‘New World’. Rounding it off, he and Urtheart both talk about the 2nd Chapter of Deltarune.

It’s that time again, and after a few months we have the full five members of the LMC Cast at the table once again. This time, they sit down to play a game of trading spices in ‘Century: Spice Road’. and after buying the first prize with his spices, Vanato talks mostly about his second Pokémon game he’s been playing in the run up to November. Needless to say, a different experience to his SoulSilver run from the previous month, but with it’s own set of challenges that required some unconventional choices.  All of which leads to a big debate about Pokémon tactics.
