Whilst recording the most recent session, T.A. Black has to head off and take care of some business. In the break after Kevin relays the story of an attention seeker in the Sonic Con UK Discord slamming Summer of Sonic’s organisers for, supposedly, being corporate shills. The remaining LMC Cast team discuss creating and working on conventions and what makes them special.

Plus, Kevin explains exactly what’s required to make one last Summer of Sonic happen – and why it MUST pass the torch to a new generation.

The hand size is beginning to shrink for some, as the boys continue their game of Skull – presenting some with a need to do some daring moves. But will any dare take on Vger, who is by far and away the most aggressive player.

It’s also Vger’s turn to give us an update on what he’s been watching and playing now he’s in America. But given he’s recently been to see Hatsune Miku in concert and there’s other members of the LMC community going when it comes to London, Kevin takes the opportunity to quiz him on the much criticised changes to the presentation.

Betting and bluffing is the order of the day for the boys as they take on card came Skull. Make a claim as to how many of the placed cards you will turn over without finding a skull, win and you’re halfway to victory. Lose and say goodbye to one of your cards at random.

Urtheart updates everyone on his activities in Doom RAMP, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank and comes back with more information about Biogun. Also Vger is back, calling in from his new home of America – and failing miserably at refuting accusations he’s now a part-time cowboy.

The guys finish off the list of what is releasing or been released in 2024 only to find a distinct trend towards games featuring insects. Also, never mind GTA – who is up for filling Moomin Valley with oodles of delicious CRIME?

Nevermind the return of the 80’s and 90’s – it’s all about the revenge of the early 2000’s! At least according to Kevin as he continues telling Urtheart and ShadowFox about the video games that are (supposedly) out in 2024.

Between games that sound like Enid Blyton novels and titles that are already cancelled, there’s also Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, which is definitely coming out – albeit with some concerns.

The LMC trio of ShadowFox, Urtheart and Kevin casts their eyes forward towards the rest of the year and the games that have, will or may come if we pray hard enough. If only Kevin had any games he was genuinely looking forward to this year.
