On World Autism Awareness Day local mum of five Carol Lennon spoke of the challenges facing young adults with autism.  Louise Carolan and Gerry gave credence to the old saying "Laughter is the Best Medicine".  Trichologist Liam Byrne offered lots of advice on scalp and hair care while the wonderful Eanna Ni Lamhna put names on Gerry's Signs of Spring!!

Karl O'Dwyer from Dunboyne is Ireland's fastest man but we slowed him down for a while this afternoon!  John McGovern received a most precious gift last September and it has changed his life.  Verner Wheelock revealed his daily food intake on his low carbohydrate/high fat eating regime.  Ann Carolan is our Unsung Hero for March while Teeling single malt Irish whiskey has been named Best in the World.

Any one of our Finalists; Ann Crosby, Detta Connor or Kim Hill would have been deserving of the title Best Mum in the Northeast but it was Detta's name that came out of the hat to win the fantastic prize from Scotch Hall Shopping Centre and nobody left empty handed!!  No shortage of Opinions with Betty Clarke, Ciara Burke and Karen Devine in the house.  Leon Blanche previewed the weekend's sporting action while Friday was Declan Caffrey's lucky day as he won on the double with Husqvarna and Oliver Gough.

A year ago Deirdre and Gerry made a date!  Life's busy but today it happened and the pair hit it off - great listening!!  What a story Katleen Tuite told and now published in her beautiful memoir "Who Are You Anyway".  Listoke Gin provided Tara Walker with her Flavour of the Boyne Valley this time round and we also heard from Elizabeth Oakes about Aquamation?
