We enjoyed the company of a true sporting great today in the guise of  Ronnie Delany the only Irish athlete to ever win a track gold medal at the Olympics.  Dolores Whelan and Evelyne Bourton joined us ahead of the celebrations to mark St Brigids Day and at the end of the second week of Lose Weight & Feel Great everyone has lost yet again!!

Louth GAA Great and Newtown Blues Legend Liam Leech passed away yesterday at the age of 81.  Here his lifelong friend Charlie O'Brien joined Gerry Kelly on Late Lunch to pay tribute to Liam.

Charlie O'Brien paid a glowing tribute to his great friend Louth and Newtown Blues star Liam Leech who passed away yesterday.  Angela McCormick, Carmel McCarthy and Ciara Burke are Women never short of an Opinion!  Gerry dropped in on Siobhan O'Neill-White as she continued her push to Lose Weight & Feel Great under the watchful eye of Personal Trainer Fran Moniz at Integral Fitness & Leisure.  And we had ou Friday chat with Kells Comedian Fred Cooke who needs votes on Sunday evening to continue on his Dancing with the Stars journey - Vote FRED to 53125!!

They each have their own Star on Hollywood Boulevard- Tom, Matt and Owen Moore from Fordstown in County Meath were Movie Superstars in the early part of the 20th Century - sadly they've been almost forgotten!  On Wednesday's Late Lunch Gerry Kelly in conversation with Historian Turtle Bunbury began a fresh push to have the Moores recognised and remembered.

Mary O'Growney will close the doors of the Post Office in Tara for the final time on Saturday afer her 44 year time there and 150 years since it first opened - she will miss it and be really missed by the community - have a listen to a poignant story.  Another Cracker - The Moore Brothers from Fordstown are Hollywood Superstars yet their legacy and memory is almost non-existent - Turtle Bunbury knows about the boys and would like to see them recalled and remembered.  Simply Fit Food were our featured business on Let's Talk Business this time round.  While Gerry caught a word with Virtuoso Violinist Lynda O'Connor who's performing at the January Drogheda Classical Concert in St Peter's Church of Ireland on Friday evening.

What a lovely story Declan Murray told about his connection with Laurel & Hardy which was followed by Liam Muldowney founder of their fan club in Ireland called The Jitterbugs Tent.  Late Lunch Book Club Friday as Margaret Madden brought us her Book of the Month and more great recommendations besides.  Our Virtuoso of Vino Rick Kronje turned the spotlight on the Cabernet Sauvignon grape.  We heard from Paul Gallagher of Birdwatch Meath and Fred Cooke needs our votes if he's to make it through in Dancing with the Stars this weekend.
