A Very Special Late Lunch!  We celebrated our 10th Birthday in beautiful Bellingham Castle in the company of so many of our friends.  Keith Barry weaved his magic, Pat Coldrick made his classical guitar sing, original producer Deirdre Hurley returned for the afternoon and we caught a word with many of our regular contributors to the Show.  This was Show number 2,449 featuring in excess of 11,400 guests....

Lisa Dunbar is all the better in so many ways after ditching her Smartphone a year ago!  Bobby McCormack from Development Perspectives joined us to talk about "Spirit" a short feature about the Medical Missionaries of Mary and Climate Change matters.  Katrina Kelly is on her way to Kolkata where she'll put her alternative medicine skills to very good us and while with us Gerry spoke to the Trim woman about aspects of her work.  What a great young man Eoin Morris is - have a listen to a powerful radio piece about drink, drugs and kicking the habit.

We caught up with Michelle Montague who gave birth to the First New Year Baby just before she was discharged from Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital today to head home to Trim with baby Maeve and partner Simon.  We reflected and looked forward to 2019 across the spectrum in the company of three very wise men; Willie Kealy, Paul Murphy and Gene McKenna.  Ciara Boylan is just ten yet so knowledgeable and passionate about science, space and engineering!!  While over the holidays Vicky Hanratty only went and won a Feckin House - Magical!

In the midst of the annual frenzy Fr Michael Cusack reminded us about the important things and real meaning of Christmas!  Gerry paid a visit to the Maples Montessori where the little ones were simply enchanting.  Talented Triplets Elizabeth, Katie and Sophie Ni Mhaolin who are all members of the Julianstown Youth Orchestra performed magically and had a chat with GK.  Our recently crowned "Best Christmas Pudding in the Northeast" winner Betty McHugh along with son Barry and daughter Gillian (who were also incidentally in the final four) popped in to reflect on her win and pick up the Hamper!  Nigel McKenna had a word wiith us from New York and we heard from more Christmas Cuties...

Gerry was in his element as he opened the show in the company of internationally acclaimed stylist and brand consultant Celestine Cooney!  Ciara Burke, Karen Devine and Carmel McCarthy brought the curtain down on Women with Opinions for 2018 and selected the Best Christmas Pudding in the Northeast which this year was made by Elizabeth McHugh - Congratulations!  And to round of Thursday's matters John McKeown told us about his unusual plans for Christmas Day?
