Lo que Ale no dijo
by Alexandra Larco, M.Ed., PPSC-CWA
Lo que Ale no dijo is a bilingual podcast where lived experience meets unapologetic truth.
I’m Alexandra Larco, a Peruvian immigrant, mother of two, dancer, and school counselor in Los Angeles. I created this space to speak on the things I once had to silence. The stories stored in our nervous systems. The discomfort we were taught to swallow. The cultural patterns that are often left unspoken, especially in performance spaces where power, silence, and survival intertwine.
This podcast is not about bashing anyone. It’s not gossip. It’s not therapy. But it is truth. My truth told with clarity, intention, and deep care for those who’ve experienced similar wounds.
In this first episode, I share my own story as a student and amateur dancer navigating uncomfortable dynamics in a team setting. I reflect on patterns of verbal abuse, machismo, power imbalance, and the emotional toll of being gaslit all while trying to reclaim my voice as an adult woman and immigrant artist. I also include the perspective of a former student who bravely came forward to share her experience. Her voice is protected, but her truth matters.
Through this platform, I hope to show that what we don’t say still lives in us until we name it. Until we feel safe. Until we’re ready.
This is a place for collective healing, community reflection, and honoring our inner knowing.
You are invited to share your story especially if you’ve ever been silenced, ignored, or told you were “too emotional.” You’re not alone.

– Latinx identity, womanhood & healing
– Neuroscience & the body’s memory
– Dance culture & reclaiming movement
– Boundary-setting & personal power
– Stories we carry from childhood to adulthood
Episodes may be in English, Spanish, or both because healing is multilingual, just like many of us.
