Lobey, Lynchie and Hank talk about the passing of Celtics great Tommy Heinsohn. Tommy Gun was 86. Lobey enjoyed a lot of company with Tommy and his lady friend Helen and Lynchie as a hysterical story about a benefit game he refereed when Tommy pulled a joke that Red Auerbach didn't find funny! Hank once played a song for Helen at a wedding and talks about Tommy requesting the song with his big voice. They also talked about the Patriots big win, but Lobey wasn't impressed with the Pats or Cam Newton. Then they goes discussed the Red Sox rehiring manager Alex Cora. Two of them don't like the move and one does. AND..they give out their "Our Best Meatballs"

Lobey, Lynchie and Hank discuss Bill Belichick and why he is making excuses for why his team is struggling this season. Do Your Job, coach. He has never done this before, but the Patriots haven't struggled like this during his two decades as head coach. The guys introduced their new feature "Meatball of the Week", sponsored by Our Best Foods and Our Best Meatball. Lobey and Hank picked the same "Meatball of the Week", but Lynchie had a different one. Lynchie was also very excited about voting and was wearing multiple "I Voted" stickers. He was at his worst after Sunday's 24-21 loss in Buffalo and embarrassed a reporter who asked a question everyone knew the answer to. Jim Rice was famous for smoking guys in interviews and Hank talks about the time Rice got him in 1986. Finally, we pay tribute again to the late Travis Roy, the former Boston University hockey player, who died last week at the age of 45, almost exactly 25 years after he suffered a paralyzing injury in his first shift ever for the Terriers.

Lobey FINALLY reveals what made him stay at WBZ-TV, Channel 4, in 1986 when CBS sports offered him their lead sports anchor job and why he turned it down! Jim Nancy took the job and has had it ever since. Then, Lynchie told us the real reason why Jimmy Garoppolo was traded to the San Francisco 49'ers. Hank thinks some of the luster is coming off of Bill Belichick, BUT it is still early. Bill has done amazing things before as a coach. Meanwhile, Tom Brady is playing like he's 23, not 43, and had lead Tampa to a 4-2 record, with 18 TD passes and only 4 interceptions! Pretty special stuff we are witnessing with TB12!
