Locked In with Ian Bick

Lori LeDonne grew up in Connecticut with a good family and a passion for music. But after suffering a miscarriage, Lori turned to drugs, starting a battle with addiction that would last decades. She got sober for years, only to relapse in her early 50s — a relapse that would change everything. Lori ended up giving drugs to a young woman who overdosed, leading to a manslaughter conviction and a three-year sentence in a women's maximum security prison. #AddictionRecovery #WomenInPrison #LockedInPodcast #ManslaughterCase #TrueCrimePodcast #RedemptionStory #PrisonStories #secondchances Thank you to BLUCHEW & PRIZEPICKS for sponsoring this episode: BlueChew: Visit https://bluechew.com/ and use promo code LOCKEDIN at checkout to get your first month of BlueChew FREE & pay five bucks for shipping. Retired police Sgt. John Mattingly sits down to share the unfiltered truth about his decades in law enforcement. From working narcotics and violent crimes to running postage interdiction, Mattingly has seen it all — and some of those cases still haunt him to this day. In this powerful interview, he opens up about his early years as a police officer, the dangers of working narcotics cases, and the emotional weight of investigating violent crimes. He also talks about the unique world of postage interdiction and the major arrests it led to. But the case that changed everything was the Breonna Taylor raid, where Mattingly was shot and nearly killed. He discusses how that night ended his career, how the media shaped the public narrative, and what he says really happened during the raid. This is a raw, honest conversation about the realities of police work, the trauma that comes with it, the impact of media coverage, and what life is like after walking away from the badge. #JohnMattingly #BreonnaTaylorCase #LawEnforcementStories #PoliceInterview #TrueCrimePodcast #MediaTruth #NarcoticsUnit #LockedInPodcast Thank you to BLUECHEW for sponsoring this episode: Visit https://bluechew.com/ and use promo code LOCKEDIN at checkout to get your first month of BlueChew FREE & pay five bucks for shipping. Davon Eldemire grew up in the hood in Bridgeport, Connecticut with no father in the picture, raised by his mom and sisters as the only boy in the house. He had a passion for basketball but eventually got consumed by the street life, giving up his dream. That path led to a robbery where he shot someone and was sentenced to 14 years in prison. In this interview, Davon opens up about what it was like growing up without a father, how the streets pulled him in, and the moment that changed everything and landed him in prison. He shares what the years behind bars taught him about life, the mindset shift that turned his sentence into an opportunity, and how he is now using his experience to mentor the youth and keep them from going down the same path. #RaisedInTheHood #PrisonStories #LockedInPodcast #StreetLife #TrueCrimePodcast #PrisonLife #RedemptionStory #lifeafterprison Thank you to BLUECHEW & PRIZEPICKS for sponsoring this episode: BlueChew: Visit https://bluechew.com/ and use promo code LOCKEDIN at checkout to get your first month of BlueChew FREE & pay five bucks for shipping.
