The Atlanta Falcons tweeted out a picture of Drake London, Kyle Pitts and Auden Tate. Mark Zinno believes that there is an underlying message in it. The most interesting thing about the tweet is that it said "going big" behind those players. Zinno is taking that as being the new identity of this team going forward. Secondly, Grant McAuley, of Braves POSTCAST, joined A to Z with Mark Zinno to discuss the Atlanta Braves. They discussed how the Braves have had some struggles, but overall, they’ve been fine. Also, McAuley gives the team in the National League East that has surprised him the most so far. Lastly, the Atlanta Hawks were bounced out of the first round of the NBA playoffs. David Aldridge,of The Athletic, wrote about what teams need to do to get better next season. Aldridge intimated that the Hawks need an attitude adjustment. The Hawks got cocky after getting to the eastern conference finals last year and it showed during the regular season this year. Trae Young needs to be part of that attitude change.

The Atlanta Hawks certainly did not meet expectations when they were bounced out of the NBA playoffs by the Miami Heat. Jon Chuckery has stated that Travis Schlenk’s phone should be busy this offseason trying to upgrade their roster. Chuckery has a very interesting name that he thinks that the Atlanta Hawks should go after. Secondly, the Atlanta Falcons have struggled for quite some time rushing the passer. The Falcons drafted Arnold Ebiketie in the second round to help put pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Jon Chuckery believes that even though Ebiketie hasn’t played a down in a Falcons’ jersey, he is the best pass rusher on the team. The Falcons should see some improvement this year on how they affect the quarterback. Lastly, the Atlanta Braves have struggled all around to start the 2022 season. During a shortened season, Marcell Ozuna showed that he was more than worthy of his current contract. Jon Chuckery believes that he hasn’t been good ever since and Brian Snitker should think about moving Ozuna out of the clean-up spot.

The Atlanta Falcons drafted Desmond Ridder in the third round of the NFL Draft with the expectation that he could eventually become a starter one day. With Ridder being drafted in the third round, Mark Zinno believes that the Falcons could go another route if they feel he’s not capable of being the face of the franchise. Arthur Smith may feel pressure from the front office to find out if Ridder is the guy in 2022. Secondly, John Michaels of 680 The Fan, joined A to Z with Mark Zinno to break down the Falcons draft and their rebuild process. They discuss the Falcons' drafting of Desmond Ridder and his future with the team. Michaels says the Falcons can't be afraid to take a quarterback next year if they need to. Plus, they talk about the panic surrounding the Atlanta Braves and how far out of first they are this year. Lastly, Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill spoke to the media about not being interested in being a mentor to newly drafted quarterback Malik Willis. The offseason in full effect for the NFL. The Atlanta Falcons have completed the NFL Draft, and now they have made a decision on a couple of first round picks. Jarvis Davis and Tenitra Batiste discussed Chris Lindstrom option being picked up and Kaleb McGary’s option not being picked up. They went into depth what it means for the organization as a whole to bring back Jarrett. Also, they continue to discuss what the Falcons may do with another veteran on defense. Also, Zinno was amazed at the fact that Jarrett was willing to sign an extension. It speaks to the belief that the Falcons can get things turned around. Secondly, Kevin Knight, of the Falcoholic, joined A to Z with Mark Zinno to recap the NFL Draft for the Atlanta Falcons. Knight felt like Drake London may have been a reach at number eight overall. Also, they discussed how impactful the Falcons’ second round pick, Arnold Ebiketie, can be in his rookie season. Knight also believes that Desmond Ridder has a pretty good chance of being a starter in 2022. Lastly, the Atlanta Braves defeated the New York Mets in the first game of a four-game series. The 2022 draft class has to come in and make an impact in their first year. Lastly, the Atlanta Braves got a huge win against the division leading New York Mets last night. Jon Chuckery discussed how the Mets are going to have to take the division from the Braves. Only thing the Braves have to do now is build on the momentum they started in the double header they have coming up.

They discussed whether or not Deion Jones will be on this roster going forward, and what draft pick has the opportunity to come in and start right away for the Falcons. Lastly, there were four HBCU players drafted in the 2022 NFL Draft. That’s four more that were drafted in 2021.  Jarvis Davis and Tenitra Batiste discussed the importance of those players getting real opportunities to play in the NFL, and how important it is for Lions general manager, Brad Holmes, to be at the table making those kind of decisions as an HBCU graduate.
