Melle North is a portrait artist of Indigenous Wisdomkeepers. She explores and bridges the worlds between Earth-revering wisdom cultures, identity and our burgeoning western culture, and identity, and how we may weave together and unleash human interconnected potential.
She lives in the wilderness to explore intimacy literacy with intrinsic ways of being influenced by her ever-growing and rooting connections with various Indigenous Wisdomkeepers that she portraits and records.
Melle creates audio-visual exhibits as shared somatic immersion into an introduction of the extraordinarily interconnected consciousness that these Elders embody for us, and the rising unravelling, and therefore forging of harmony of our times.
