Hello, family! Today I'm going to talk about Black musicians that have reached a level of stardom, that they now have a majority white audience. We’re gonna get into my feelings on the use of their platforms, some examples of how things can get real problematic, and I wanna ask y’all do you think there's a level of responsibility they have, because they’re serving a fast-food version of hip hop to white audiences. I'm not suggesting that all Black artists must be "activists," but maybe that they err on the side of caution with their content, considering their base often lacks context. Lmk what y'all think? Does it matter?? You tell me! lol
