Head of multi-strategy at Sanlam Investments UK, Mike Pinggera, joined Citywire to discuss the Sanlam Real Assets fund’s allocation in renewable energy and his outlook on the clean energy sector following the war in Ukraine.

Almost a third of the fund’s weighting is in renewable energy. 60% of this allocation has exposure to onshore and offshore wind, 10% has exposure to solar, 10% has exposure to hydro and the rest focus on other renewable areas.
