After a break of several years, the Loophead Gathering Festival is making a welcome return to West Clare this summer.  

 

The festival, which celebrates the rich musical traditions and community spirit of the Loop Head Peninsula, will bring together musicians, dancers, families and visitors for a weekend of traditional music, workshops, sessions and local events from the 17th to the 19th of July.  

 

Joining Alan Morrissey earlier to tell us more about the revival of the festival was committee member Margaret Considine.
