In this week's episode, we discuss New Creation recent purchase of Star Vista for a whooping 296 million dollars. While the mega church previously owned only The Star Performing Arts Centre (PAC) - a concert venue in the mall that the church also uses for its services - it will now own the entire building. The most important question that we should be asking is: should religious organisations be allowed to have an investment arm to churn up profit? 

We also discuss the recent video that CNB has released titled Last Days. The video depicts a future in Singapore where controlled drugs are legalised. The video shows that by legalising controlled drugs, drug addiction will increase leading to a spike in crime which will bear a heavy burden for the medical staff and police officers. In this week's episode, we discuss the House of Seafood controversy where the restaurant came under fire for allowing costumers to use a claw machine to 'catch' their own crabs. House of Seafood has received tons of criticisms online for animal cruelty and the SPCA has lodged an official complain against them. The establishment response by removing the claw machine and gave a public apology to the media.

Should teachers be held to a higher standard?

In this week's episode, we talk about Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender and well connected financier who died in prison while awaiting his charges. Epstein was charged on July 8 with sex trafficking and conspiracy. Prosecutors alleged that Epstein molested girls as young as 14 in a sex trafficking operation that ran from at least 2002 to 2005. Epstein pleaded not guilty. He died by suicide at the age of 66 while being held at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center. We take a deep dive into the conspiracy theories surrounding his death.
