Buzz buzz Lore Folk as they say in the Hollow Nest, this week is Hollow Knight! Well as per usual the events leading up to Hollow Knight.
Jamie is back from IEM and Ethan is slaving away in the University Mines where they give group projects to people who are almost 30!
This week Jamie explains to Peter why he's missing out on adorable bugs that are actually vessels of negative energy that siphon the souls directly out of the living! We learn about a King who hates the sun, but loves experimenting on the living, why a beard of bees is the ultimate power up and why Peter just can't seem to git gud and finish this gosh darned game.
This episode is all about bugs, and not the kind that make you beg for a refund, start petitions or mod the game yourself.

Lore Boys are back, and Ethan's hosting, which means we're talking about Dungeons and Dragons, of course! This episode has all the juicy D&D items you care about: beholders, dancing swords, the Harpers, wizards, Manshoon, necromancy, betrayal, and more. We're talking the lore of Manshoon, one of D&D's earliest recurring characters, and his exploits leading up to the Manshoon Wars.
Jamie's away in Katowice for IEM this week, but Ethan and Peter hold down the fort with the quality lore and goofs we've come to expect from ourselves. Ethan explores an ancient barrow looking for an adjective, and Peter blows his hand off while trying to run for city council.

Well here it is: a late submission for likely our most important episode to date. The Lore Boys are talking about the Lord of the Rings creation myth. That's Illuvatar, the Ainu, the Valar, Gandalf, Balrogs, Sauron, Melkor, and more. Who is the God of Pouring? Of course we try and pepper in a few good goofs but in this illustrious episode tackling one of the most important pieces of fiction of the last century we try and give it to you as completely as possible.
We ask if Legolas eats ass, we find out who makes a better Doorf than a window, and we cover Jamie in jelly and dog hair.

We have all the lore from all three games, from Precursor to... well still Precursor. That doesn't sound right. We're talkin' ottsels, eco, and time travelling murder fantasies. Naughty Dog really does know how to write a compelling story.
So huff down some magic butter, boot up your Chess 64 system, and watch out for that goop pool as we piece apart all the Jak and Daxter backstory you can handle!

Baweepgranaweepninibong everyone, the Lore Boys have returned once again with more information you actually cannot live without. We're discussing the history, friendship, and frenemy-ship of Optimus Prime and Megatron of the Transformers.
Learn how being poor makes you evil, how sexy griffons with arms are and how billionaires are in no way completely out of touch with the real world.
Today Jamie forgets about Bill Paxton within seconds, Pete regrets his decision during post production and Ethan admits that he likes books (ew).

Lore Boys are back, this time with everyone's favorite toy-cum-cartoon: Transformers! That's right, the robots in disguise, at least their prehistory, is today's topic. We're talking before the Autobots, before the Decepticons, when all we had were two cousin planets named Unicron and Primus. They may get imprisoned in alternate dimensions which block their FM signals, but not for long! These two get BUSY.
This week we answer what happens when you have a car full of bees and a bird lands on it. Peter activates his Matrix of Leadership, Jamie counts prime numbers, and Ethan claims godhood.

The Lore Boys are just about ready to wrap up Sigmar's story with the Age of Sigmar. Hop on board the lore train as we speed towards the conical planets of the Eight Mortal Realms. We take our story from the End Times of Warhammer Fantasy Battle and explain how we end up in the Age of Myth, through the Age of Chaos, and finally into the Age of Sigmar.
On this episode, Ethan leans about magnets, Peter goes fishing, and Jamie bans singing. We talk about everyone's favorite two-headed god, Gorka Morka, we try our hand at etymology, and we sweet-talk a cyclops.

Lore Boys are back with part 2 of our Sigmar Unberogen trilogy! This episode we're talking about the End Times, led by Archaon the Everchosen, the Three-Eyed King, the Lord of the End Times and the self-proclaimed supreme champion of the four Gods of Chaos who was sent to command the last and greatest Chaos Invasion. If the world of Mallus is full of substitious fools ready to buy into any ol' pyramid scheme why wouldn't they buy into a weird and violent cult dedicated to the end of all things?
This episode Peter enjoys Oreo filling with bread crusts, James experiences a miner's headlamp which can't be turned off, and Ethan learns that Sonic's made of ice. So say a quick prayer to Ulric, lace up your crusadin' boots, and get ready to crack some skulls as we continue on our journey to the Age of Sigmar.
