Lost Light

When the Danger Room decides to ramp up the “danger” and downplay the “room” this is what you get.

We both agreed that the old version where Professor X imprisons a life form in the Danger Room so that he can train his students and then it’s a revenge story is a better version of this.

Also looking forward to Undead Tarot Gambit when that happens.

“They nerfed the Brood.”

Weapon X, Lies, and DVDs — But before that we talk about the Heated Rivalry/X-Men connection that nobody wants to discuss. We get into Wolverine’s strange history with the Weapon X Project. Caleb gushes over Maverick. Garrison Kane has a situation on screen that… nobody feels bad for him. We revisit the cover of Uncanny X-Men #268.

All in all it’s a nice little stand alone episode. No clue where this goes next.

You wanna know how En Sabah Nur becomes Apocalypse? It’s basically space magic from timeless space wizards. Basically.

Caleb loves the X-Men. He’s got a deeper history with this merry band of mutants than you thought. Don’t get him started.

This should have been the book that people were told to read when they wanted to see the inspiration for Born Again and not Dark Reign. Before we get to the book you’ve got Click and Clack the Lost Light Brothers doing Car Talk.

Jon Bernthal proves he continues to make this all work. The Internet seems to think this is supposed to take place between Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 and 2 but they don’t really give us any context clues so that we figure that out.

I needed like another 30-40 minutes of this. It was really good.

Bedroom televisions. Action movies. The season finale for Daredevil: Born Again S2. We both agree this episode was near perfect.

I’m personally crushed that they didn’t let the chaos on the streets of NY that was promised in the last episode unfold on camera. We do get Karen continuing down a dark path. Also if you know what this earring is supposed to mean please, please let me know.
