BOO...HOO!  My guest dropped off a few hours before we were supposed to record tonite. So all of the research I had done for this episode will remain for a future episode about the subject we had planned to talk about but I didn't want to explore the subject without a guest. Tonite, Dinosaur Expert Sarah Crosley & I dig into what may be some of the more believable sightings of cryptid creatures. Believable in the sense that the creatures we're talking about have existed on planet Earth at one time or another, so the BIG question is...are they really extinct? If they are extinct, could these creatures people are seeing be the extinct creatures modern equivalent? They definitely could be. Ask yourself, why would you put so much faith in a sighting of a creature that has never existed & not put any faith in a sighting of a creature that has? It's worth a ponder. Despite dozens of police officers & credible local civilian witnesses claiming to see strange objects executing unbelievable maneuvers in the sky & on the ground, the general public did not believe in or support them because the U.S. Government & Military did not support or believe in them either. Dozens upon dozens of witnesses thrown into the social abyss with a simple explanation...SWAMP GAS.  They refute & refuse this half assed excuse because what they experienced was legitimate & what their legacy should be based upon is their truth, not the ridicule of outsiders. On December 9th, 1965 a flaming "acorn" slowly descended to the ground in the woods of Kecksburg, Pennsylvania.  It seems like the whole town saw it & also saw the Military take over their town, for just a few brief hours, and extract the object...then act like nothing happened.  The official explanation & what the townsfolk saw differ wildly. It was a defining moment for the region & there have been numerous sightings since of unidentified flying objects, bigfoot, thunderbirds, dogmen, large panthers & maybe even dragons!  Western PA has not been the same since this fateful day in 1965 & the residents of the region have no problem telling you about their truth.

This week I chat with my oldest friend, JPX, from the POST RHETORIC PODCAST about the Highly Evolved Beings (or HEBs) that are discussed in the Conversations With God series of books by author, Neale Donald Walsch. The original trilogy of these books meant a lot to JPX & I at a young age but we never paid too much attention to the HEBs that were mentioned at the time.
